thank you so much, you saved my entire calculus 2 cramming life. and shout out to some vinunians (if u ever saw this comment), you have just entered a much easier calc2 learning path !! ^^
As we move along the x-axis in either direction, the first trace we reach is z = +4. As we move outward, we will continue to pass traces where z = some positive number, with those numbers increasing. If you want to verify, draw a few traces, like z = 8, z = 10, etc. All of these traces will intersect with the x-axis. Hence as we move along the x-axis in either direction, we will pass traces such as z = +4, z = +8, z = +10, etc. Therefore, z is increasing. It's a similar idea when we move along the y-axis in either direction. In this case, we will pass through such traces as z = -4, z = -8, etc., so z is decreasing.
@@Mary-mj7le do you know if the videos were of her teaching calc 3 material? Cuz that would mean she's got a stacked full of highschool kids learning calc 3
I've seen tutorials on a lot of subjects i haven't enjoyed a class and learn at the same time like now...You are amazing, thank you.
Thank you, your videos really help. I can either watch to review or to learn in case I miss a class.

Can someone please explain what's going on at 23:07? How does z decrease as we go along the Y axis
do you have video for 14.3
At around 22:53 can you explain why z is increasing (and why z is decreasing at 23:15)?
