Can't question your time and commitment you put into your fishing Tommy 👏🏻👏🏻, and yes there's a lot of us out there who are truly addicted to sea angling but people who don't pursue this passion won't know what getting out there does for your mental health, as soon as I set off on a session I completely switch off to the stresses of daily life and zone in on my fishing , I enjoy my time away even if I blank , that big fish is out there Tommy keep at it amigo 🎣🎣🎣👍🏻
Great video. Fish whenever I can on Anglesey and Llyn Peninsula and it is the secluded out of the way marks that produce for me. Your passion for fishing is obvious and love that you expressed so well the influence your father and mother have had on your fishing and attitude to life. Have also had a spider crab on a shallow diving lure on the ‘storm beach’ on Anglesey in one of your recent videos.
I totally agree with your philosophy, I did the same and I'm glad I did. I'm only 60 years young but arthritis has hit hard and I couldn't do many of the marks I've fished in the past, pretty much beaches from now, plus a bit of coarse and fly of course. I'm looking at it as an opportunity to up my game on the beach and bank, still plenty to learn. Only thing stopping me at the mo is lack of transport and cash. Knocked up 50 rigs this weekend and I'm straining at the leash, soon as I can I'll be back out there. We've only got one shot at life and a head full of memories is preferable to a head full of regret. Still chasing (amended) dreams. 🧔 👍
some very wise words there young Tommy me lad (running out of time etc) Now come along must try harder,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, great video as always, diolch yn fawr...........
Great video bud and you right fresh untouched marks is the way to go for that dream fish and the more effort the greater the reward your dad would of been proud !!! You hell of a fisherman!!! Keep up the good work bud :)
Love your passion Tommy great video can’t wait till September after school holidays are over me and Graham Robinson were saying how crap and hard it is in august around the island ❤ from inferno
Fair play to you showing all the sessions you fished. I know that some TH-camr's will fish 6 times a week and only put up the video where they caught fish so good for you for keeping it real. I also used to fish with my Mother and she caught some really big fish like wrasse and pollack for example. She would only cast around 30 foot out which makes me think that we are sometimes casting too far when the fish are so much closer. Anyway she died around 4 years ago now and the very same year my daughter passed away 3 months before my Mother. It was a hard couple of years but they say time is a healer and it is in a way, you don't forget but it does get easier as time passes. I can see that you have some very good memories of your Father and you are doing what he did with your kids and they will cherish them memories when they get older. I also agree with you about getting stuff done now while you are still able to and I'm sure you will get that double figure bass. Just wanted to add that there's a sign up in Bull Bay about a charity event and they want people to come forward to take part. It's been postponed twice because of the weather but I think it may be ideal for you to enter. This is no joke by the way but they want people to stay on the east mouse or Ynys Amlwch as we call it. They drop you off on the island and then pick you up 24 hours later but it would be ideal to take a rod with you. Thing is if the weather takes a turn for the worst I wouldn't want to be there. Thanks again for uploading more videos it's very much appreciated and I apologise if my comment is too long.
Start by saying thank you so much for supporting and watching. Don't ever be sorry for a long message I love to read them. Also I don't think time heals but we lern to live with the hand given to us
Me and the missus have the same philosophy mate, we have to do what we want to do while we can. They say you only regret the things you didn't do at the end!
Spot on you aren't gonna find that fish of a lifetime in an overfished area,i hope you get that fish of a lifetime for the work that you put in,keep up the good work 😉👊🎣
My last 2 excursions drew a blank, sunday 11th at penmon quarry lost a good fish and float to the rocks/weed saw loads of garfish jumping. Then monday went to Pwllheli but the south westerly brought loads of weed and spent nearly an hour getting it off the line so packed up and went to cemlyn, no weed and no fish but had a splash to my top water lure. Just hope my next session improves
