- I try to answer @jamiemadden3129 question earlier about my Ttm failures (and success ).
I also gave a little more background on how I started ttms and what made me try it @jedijohnny was my driving force in wanting to send cards out to get signed.
This video may not be for all my viewers who come to watch me rip packs. There were no packs harmed in the making of this video. Haha
So feel free to skip this video unless you want to know more about me and my love of Ttm.
Thank you all for the continued support of me and my channel. Thank you all. Nate
Great Q&A with TTM successes and failures and your stamp collection! I TTMs for a short period of time during 1983-1985! I stopped when I went to college and never returned! I also had a stamp collection of my own! That began in 1981 with Prince Charles and Lady Diana commemorate stamps! That ended too!⚾
First of all, Thank you for the shout out. It really makes me happy and feel the good vibes. I loved seeing this, I feel your pain with the non returns. Like you said, part of the game. It really hurts when u don't get one back with multiple autographs on. Man, u had some 88 organs donruss in there. Great viedo...Never give up on a return.....unless they are dead. seams like the players rabbits also change. Thank you for sharing the story about your papa and his stamps...Great tribute and way to get going in this hobby of ours
@@jedijohnny thanks Johnny. Yea I never give up. I actually just bid on another 88 Donruss orange set on eBay. I realized I have like 18 cards out for that set and have never bit them back! So when I get it in, I’ll re send some of the players. And let me know if you need any of the orange cards for you to resend. I’ll have a complete set worth and it will be my second set. So I’ll have plenty for you to get sent out too! Send me a list of players you need cards for. I’ll send them your way my friend!
Thanks for the video! It was good to see the randomness of it all. I've gotten Gary Lavelle twice, but never got Barry Foote or Glenn Adams. Also loved the background and the stamps. I used to collect stamps as a kid, and have used some of them for my SASE's also. Thanks again for the video and information. BTW U.L. Washington has passed away.
@@jamiemadden3129 no problem Jamie! I’m glad you motivated me to make the video. And yes sending the sase to guys with my papas stamps made it all the more exciting to get them back! As I was not just wanting the players auto but the stamp too! Thanks again for asking about the failures. You are right that I too haven’t seen anyone make a video detailing that part of the hobby! Thanks for watching! Nate
Nice.
@@COOLFINDSnj thanks for watching Rich!
johnny rocks. he was a guest on one of my monthly lives. i sent to terry oriely and it ended up being a different terry onriely
@@theautographfishermanjonbu325 haha. Yea stinks when you send to the wrong name. I’ve done it way too many times on accident
@DubsCards me as well but that was the biggest lol
@@theautographfishermanjonbu325 haha
Are you looking up the stamps before you use them? I know that there are some highly sought after ones that an be worth a pretty penny, I've only dabbled in stamps, so I'm certianly not an expert. I think the binder with the return envelope is really cool.
@@3GoodNerds yes Justin. I paid an appraiser to look at them prior to me sending any out. I did have some very rare and valuable ones that we set aside so I can pass on to my sons. And glad I did! Some are worth thousands. The ones from the mid to late 1800s. But the ones that were unused and had the sticker type backs are only worth face value. The ones you had to lick were ones to save. It still. I had thousands of full unused sheets of most stamps made after 1942.
@@DubsCards So glad that you took the time to have them looked at before you started TTMing.
@ yea me too. You should have seen the look on the appraiser’s face when I told them I was going to use them to send out mail! It was priceless.
