Maybe it's time to move them to Quebec City. Then there's the politics of the one of the owners of the Quebec Nordiques franchise due to his Quebec separatist views, no different from Donald Sterling or Jerry Buss. C'mon Gary Bettman & the Molson family & Maple Leafs Sports & Entertainment. There's a very passionate fan base there.

And it will probably stay empty because the American run NHL is more interested in putting NHL teams in the U.S than in Canada.
