I LOVE the way it turned out! It’s amazing how much more livable and well, satisfying the new layout is. Don’t mind the empty rooms, he’s gonna have to go hustle and buy some stuff haha. It’s now actually a rich guy’s home instead of a weird non functional letdown of a build.
Thank you! I figured sort of a generational home...and some things get worn out and he's waiting until he has a reason to replace them. It looks so nice on the outside (generally, a few strange things like the mahogany deck) but the shell is basically attractive that when you enter...it's a vertdeferk moment
Really nice Makeover! 😊 If you wanna do these House-Tours to Show every room i have a little Trick for Future videos: If you select the terrain-brush Tool, you are able to use the Tabkey-Camera-Mode - it may make it easier to navigate through the House! 😊
Malcolm Landgraab, the ever famous power hungry man. This guy sure is his own worst enemy sometimes. Malcolm ended up with Dina Caliente, who managed to charm her way into his heart with lies of being from a successful business. She is 'nice' to other customers, but she is very careful to not let anyone from Pleasantview see her; Dina had been kicked out after she was rejected for marriage by Mortimer when he discovered she was responsible for the disappearance of Bella. Malcolm and Dina ended up having Mimi II and Dudley II, named after the sims from the Bustin' Out games.
I have translated the original console, Get a Life into TS2 and TS4 play, complete with rules and builds. I have Mimi and Dudley as well as Malcolm. I have a playlist of the TS4 Get a Life here on YT. If people are interested I'll do the TS2 eventually as well.
FYI, the best way to do 1st person views is using tab, then WASD to navigate. I would also hit the minus key to zoom out so you get more of a fish-eye effect for smaller spaces.
Definitely going to to try this. I do use this for better photos, but haven't really used it for navigating. I did try it a little and it doesn't work well with my screen grabber. I'll continue though :)
Omgggg, I LOOOOVE and adore what you've done with the place SO MUCH!!! 😍😍😍😍😍LOL ever since I saw RyanPlaysTheSims' "I Give Malcolm Landgraab The Life He Deserves" video and was surprised by how atrocious Malcolm's house is (for being someone SO rich) I've been so eager and excited for you to redo it, and here it is!!! I love the gorgeous house layout and wish we could've seen what you'd decorate with a bigger budget 😍😍😍😍 Also now you've made me SO excited to find a way to procure my old Sims 2 files so I can go and play this family so I can fulfill Malcolm getting married and having a ballet dancer daughter TT_TT
@@anachibi Truth! My Goth mansion took 9 hours...I did the build relatively quickly, it was the decorating because I really wanted it to feel rich, and they had so much money!
I’m really loving these remodels you’re doing! I never can seem to do remodels myself, my brain can’t really “see” the end result upon initially seeing a build, so I struggle in that area, if that makes sense. Do you have these remodels up for download any where by chance?
Yes! In the description of every video is a link to a public FB group (as far as I know you don't even need a FB account) to download the files. Keep trying it will start to become natural to you. And I know this sounds strange, but play Tetris. It will help you visualize how rooms fit together.
@@VioletKitty411 hey thanks for the advice! I suppose I should have checked the link before I asked, soo apologize about that, but I’m excited to know that I can download it, thank you! Keep up the awesome work, look forward to more!
Malcolm's original house was a such a disappointment. Now he has a home he can be proud of. Years ago my Malcolm and Brandi Broke had a very happy marriage although the Broke boys ended up rather spoiled. After so much deprivation, Brandy couldn't say no to the boys once she married Malcolm.
I love that because I love Brandi. I think she deserves a happy life. I imagine Dustin got too big for his britches. Did they marry before she had the baby?
@@VioletKitty411Since Dustin was old enough to have many memories of his dad, he also had resentment towards his mom remarrying even though he enjoyed the monetary advantages. It was a long time ago so I can't remember for sure, but I think the baby was already born.

I 100% believe that Malcolm would want his daughter to be the best ballerina ever!
Malcolm's mansion is a struggle! I had to leave some rooms pretty empty in my makeover too haha
Legitimately when I do these makeovers I'm kind of relieved once I get to the budget because it means I'm ready to stop! Otherwise OCD takes over LOL
Haha yeah! I don't want my sims to end up so loaded there's never any challenge, either. XD

@@estreetangel those teenagers are so extra about their parents getting remarried!
What might help the first person tours is using the tab camera and zooming out a little bit for a wider field of view!
You can use Q and E (while in tab mode) to raise and lower the camera!
I've been trying to do that but it does conflict with the screen recorder
