    If Erlang was the first language I learned my life would be a lot better. It's not just a way of programming, it's taught me how to manage teams and projects robustly without having things become a monolithic mess.

    I never thought that someone is going to teach OTP to me and I'll understand it being a novice (returning after 2 decades in programming). I don't know Elixir (just introduction) but I understood everything taught here. A big thanks to Jesse J. Anderson for this talk and the team for recording it too! :)

    Says "I am a designer" and goes on for another 40 minutes explaining OTP to a room full of developers.... I need to learn Photoshop.

    Came here to get a better handle on using GenServer and Agent type things in Phoenix.
    Got that ... but also piqued an interest in sythns with that opening.
    Got the phoenix stuff sorted, now Im learning how to make bassilnes on my RD-6 / TD-3 combo :)

      You should also try VCV Rack, it's great modular synth :)
