      I recently acquired a Seat Toledo 20VT (180ps) I think they share the same engine, code name is AUQ. Lovely ride it's well mantained but needs a paint job. Google for the model I bet you will like it. The k03s turbo is a bit outdated I plan to swap for a K04-64 once it dies lol.

      @Dillon Ventola can’t beat the responsiveness of a v6 n/a! I’m looking at putting a few hundred k on mine so not looking to risk anything like that. My younger son, who originally found the 1996 A4, is now solidly a BMW guy, with 1991 and 2004 3-series sedans and a late model 2-series two-door commuter. My elder son is still in the VW/Audi fold, with his 2002 A4 and his wife's Tiguan, which our grandsons really like. When our boys were younger, there was a time we were a four B5/B6 family: my 1996 A4 Quattro, younger son's 2000 S4 (not recommended -- absolute money pit), my wife's 2001 Passat wagon, and our elder son's 2002 A4 Quattro.

      Is it reliable John E? I'm looking for an older drivers car that won't cost much to buy or fix. The Audi B5 is highly likeable in the enthusiast community. Also awd is nice for NJ weather. Although I get by in my rwd car alright.

    • @johne6081

      @@domvitorocco I have the old 12-valve V6 with the 5-speed pre-Tiptronic automatic. I have had minor problems with decaying vacuum lines, power window regulators (flimsy plastic clips), headlight switch, ignition switch, and climate control module (cold solder joints), none of which were terribly difficult or time-consuming DIY repairs. If you don't mind doing your own maintenance and light repairs, it is a pretty solid and economical car to own and drive.

    • @domvitorocco
      @domvitorocco 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@johne6081 Thank you for replying! I can do some diy stuff myself. I once owned a volvo and within 2 years, I lost $7000 to maintenance alone, no mods. Sold for the price at bought it at $6500, bought a Genesis Coupe for the same $6500, and have put in $4k in 2 years with mixed maintenance and mods. Needs another $2500-3000 for clutch replacement and for some other things too. I have like no savings left! So I'm thinking of making the decision to sell my car, keep the money in my savings and buy a cheap car or make monthly payments.

      @domvitorocco 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You do?! That's awesome! I live in northern NJ and drive around the tri state area time to time. I myself would be looking for a manual B5! But I have heard that the B5 is prone to some electronic failures here and there and that parts could be expensive depending on were you live. I absolutely enjoy my current car (2010 Genesis Coupe), but I've been dumping at least a whole car's worth of mods and money into my last 2 cars. The atm now prints me coupons for ramen noodles, my wallet put a financially belt, and to top it all off it's the holiday season! Haha! Need to stop dropping a ton of cash on cars. So I want to find something cheap, fun to drive, and cheap to fix. Cheap cheap cheap. What about you? Why do you want a B5?
