    Do you think this could also be used to extend a flower bed? Almost like a tiller..?

    man my boss must have accidently put a weed wacker engine on ours because it is NOT that easy to operte

    • @jerseylawncare401

      Haha if you have a rocky subterranean area or it’s deeply rooted from tree roots it becomes a tad harder to operate but we love it! Save so much time! Thanks for watching!

      Yep you’ll just need to bring the bed out a little.

    I own one of these and have not used it in over 7 years! Pulled it out and put new belts on it and got it running...I bought the belts from a reputable hardware rental store who knew just what belts I needed.....Put them on and I do not even have to engage the clutch and the blades start spinning right away upon starting? Why do they seem too tight? They are 31" belts??????
    Thanks!!

      Yea same happens with ours can’t have it full throttle until you’re in the bed. Mine belts are somewhat lose tho. Not sure the size.

    A battery powered saws all makes quick work of those roots.

    How well does that do like around ~ 5’ tree circles? Is it self propelled?

    • @jerseylawncare401
      @jerseylawncare401  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It does just fine, not self propelled, we just pull it. If there are any small roots and just eats them up, larger ones we just raise the machine over it

    How do you charge for this service? By the foot, by the job, time used? Inquiring people want to know. Thanks

    • @jerseylawncare401
      @jerseylawncare401  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Edging is included in our mulching price. We charge $135 per yard of mulch. This machine takes all the effort out of edging! We highly recommend one!

      @firstname6208 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My local dealer has a new one, $3600. With one edger rotor. But there are so many rotors available to do many different jobs. Small stump grinder, burying wire, burying irrigation line, countless jobs that could keep u busy in a troubling year. Thanks

    • @jerseylawncare401
      @jerseylawncare401  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@firstname6208 yep we got ours used on Facebook market place for $1200. It’s legit the best thing we’ve bought! Go for it!!

      Best money we’ve spent! Zero effort using this machine for edging. We occasionally hit a pvc irrigation pipe but can fix that in a jiffy! Thanks for the comment! 🌊
