On a human level the behaviour of West Ham Football Club as an employer is disgraceful. If the club don't want Lopetegui then they should sack him, appoint an interim from within and find a manager they do want, though I would think most of the top managers around will think twice about getting into bed with a club that behaves the way WHU do.
It sounds like they could have and should have sacked him when his father was in his last few weeks. Instead Julen had to go to Rush Green every day knowing he was out of a job and that his beloved father was passing at any moment. Anyone could have stood on the touchline and watched us lose. If we had let him go and put in an interim coach, even a Kevin Keen from within, perhaps our players would have been more interested in trying to perform. All that said, why would anyone, the players, coaches, groundsmen etc. want to play for such a gormless, classless apathetic person?
Hard to disagree with this. FWIW I think Lopetegui should from the start have been assured of a whole season, as long as we weren't at big risk of relegation, to show what he was or wasn't capable of. Sure, he might still have failed, but he'd have been given a fair opportunity without sections of the fanbase and of the media undermining him from the start. This "one game to save himself" and "dead man walking" stuff is an utter disgrace, both unfair on Lopetegui and ridiculously offputting to whoever might come next.

Exactly, look at Ruben Amorim at utd he is struggling in this league......The amount of west ham fans who wanted him 🙄
Fonseca struggled at Milan and got sacked. My personal preference would be a British manager.
@@napoleonreed3309Espirito Santo was dismissed from Wolves, Spurs and Al Ittihad. Do you think Forest fans mind that?
Which British manager? Moyes wouldn't be welcome back, so that leaves Potter, or Cooper. Neither are particularly inspiring.
@@yunoyuluvit he won't win anything at forest......they've had a lucky season so far.
@@napoleonreed3309 And?! He's not even had a whole season, yet. Even if he gets them 7th, or 8th, it's still a huge achievement.
@@yunoyuluvitgood point!!
Loppy took training today so he's still in charge until at least Friday
Is this Steiten Gonzo speaks of, related to Tim Steiden 😄
Nooo!!! 😢 Fonseca= J Lo
We need to see some progress and to have POTTER for two years sounds right . AS LONG AS HE CAN WORK WITH TIM. And Sullivan butts out . We will be on the right track.⚒⚒⚒
Please no if Potter deal falls through. We really do love to go for people on the other side of their career
I've heard Fonseca's name loads over the years. Never fills me with excitement.
Crazy how much better run and more pull basically every other club in the league has than us.
Not surprising how WH are run
We’re not going to get potter think he will join Everton and who could blame him new owners new stadium good support on the other hand we have shit owners a shit stadium but one thing going for us we have got good supporters but can’t see him turning Everton down but there you go just my slant on the situation. # SULLIVAN AND BRADY OUT
good supporters? Are you mad? not battering the opponent within first ten minutes and the London Stadium goes quiet then ten minutes later and teh players would rather be Palace fans at a Milwall match!
Hasn’t Sullivan learnt that when you cast the net too wide you don’t catch anything. I fully expect JL to continue😩⚒
Sullivan has turn us into Billy Smart's circus!
Yes please. One mobile striker and Fonseca would qualify as an extremely positive and extremely late Chrismas present. Fonseca and striker with pace and I honestly cant complain.
Ex just put there’s concerns that Potter having second thoughts
Fonseca did NOT do well with AC Milan. No fight, no passion. Would be a terrible choice for us. So of course Sullivan will hire him.
Go and read Milan forums. None of their fans blame Fonseca. And getting Milan 8th and above Real Madrid, Juventus, PSG this season in the Champions League is more than Potter has done in his entire career; in what supposebly has been a bad season for him. Compare their win percentages. Fonseca won Ligue with a side that have no right to win it. A manager who took Lille to a league tile over PSG or a manager got Chelsea to 11th and hasnt worked in 2 years. This cub, man. We should have appointed Fonseca in the summer.
I think this Potter situation is NOT looking good. Potter has had at least a couple of months to weigh up if he wants the West Ham job or not
I think our differing has let Everton in. But regardless they should just part ways with Loppy
Keeping him on is just not fair all round
Rumour has it the lad who changes the bog roll has been appointed. On condition by Sullivan that he had to still supply the arse wipe.
West Ham Utd have some of the best fisherman in the league. Hook line and sinker.
Or magicians if you prefer, smoke and mirrors
Was he disguised as Graham Potter Gonzo !
We've gone all season without a manager, by all intents and purpose, so sack loppy and put in an inhouse for now!!
Would be a poor appointment.
Can we interview for a new chairman please?
Questions for long term fans. Were previous boards/owners as disorganised, reactive and embarrassing as Sully/Brady?
I’m still upset with rednap being sack so I guess we’ve always been like this 😝
This club is disgusting honestly everyone must look at this club and just laugh . Absolute circus
So potters not coming then 😂
Fonseca and Latte Lath and I'm telling you, he has all the tools he needs.
Why is he talking to Brady?! Isn't she commercial director, so all the off the pitch stuff like ticketing, sponsorship etc?
Bookmakers odds got him at 1-2 for the everton job
He won't come either.ill called it yesterday potter won't come to west ham mates
If he was he'd be here by now
I wondered if he interviewed well
No PowerPoint allowed
PLEASE GET FONSECA. FONSECA AND LATTE LATH
It's a mess bc they can't get a replacement,potter man 😩get Silva in now,pay Fulham and let's move on
Fonseca? The guy who couldn’t make it in Serie A twice?
Who is managing the Villa game just lol only the FA cup
Looks like we are pleading with an average manager, who has been out of work for two years , to come and manage us in order to dismiss the present boss. Monty Python F.C.
We all know Moyes is returning. it's all a smokescreen
I would rather Moyes come back
