Hi, for those who still dont have rain after all theses steps (like me), i solved the problem by : going to settings-> csp -> weather fx and then change the controller script from sol 2.2 to sol. (Just sol, whitout numbers). and now i have rain working perfectly , hope that's gonna help some people !

How do I fix the problem of running on a wet track without spray on the rear wheels? Only traces remain as if you were running on earth/sand etc. I use CSP 0.23 and Sol 2.29!

I did made my own srp server trying to get a 3 lane traffic, but realized quickly i need a custom script. Haven't changed much, I remember playing with the time, not much with the csp extra doe. For now I mainly cover issues CSP, SOL, mods and Content Manager and ofc traffic etc.

I have everything . I have paid for the patron for both pure and the other the lights patch and have installed them but I do not have the app showing up to active and I don’t have any available version that came with them . I have the sound of rain but no rain is showing. Very confused
Hiya buddy thanks for your vids very informative, I am running pure candy and latest paid sol, it says the correct version new version in the info bit, but in weather FX there is no drop-down menu for Controller 😂 only PP filter which is set to pure candy… is this normal? rain works on the windshield and stuff and weather/sky is fine but I’m just trying to sort the rain look and puddles on the road for Revival project map in no Hesi, thanks for everything mate much appreciated

I need your help my wipers dont turn on anymore like i tap the button to turn on the wipers but it only turns on for 1 sec then it turns off like as if i need to move the wipers manualy and they dont turn automatycly when it rains, i need your help
have the problem that somehow i dont have any water drops on the 3rd person camera when driving in rain. it once was working and suddenly it didnt work anymore. I dont know how to fix this.. i let all the rain and water settings stock, i changed nothing. any idea how to fix this? Particle fx and rain fx is active. Weather fx is on "pure". i uploaded a little video of it. its really annoying. :/

Hey brother, my first guess is that as a lot of people do, they delete CSP and install only the preview version. Now I want to point out immediately the "CSP Preview" is ONLY a feature aka (RainFX + Bug fixes & improvements) this is not the FULL CSP, so make sure you have installed normal CSP, then jump to that. Also if that is no that case. I'd say that's a CSP bug and all you gotta do is uninstall CSP completely restart Content Manager, install CSP, upgrade to 1.79, drop the preview version whatever it is 1.80 or 1.79. Restart CM again just in case remember CM doesn't update data, so that's why we restart, that's why a lot of ppl still see missing cars, when they install big car packs, meanwhile they have everything, but it's just CM that didn't update the data. That's why we restart. After all that, if it still crashes try to verify game data files from Steam -> rigth click game -> properties -> then verify game intergrity. I'd strongly suggest to hop on my discord for help, because here I can only guess without seeing the problem and the crash log with my eyes. Discord link is in description and happy holidays!

Hey brother my advice is to watch my latest Rain Fix complete guide. Free CSP version is only (leaked), so you gotta dig third party website otherwise it costs $1. The other thing is most people use bad cars, some cars just do not support the ParticleFX, so make sure your car is good mod with good scripts. You can download some car from no hesi servers at least the ones there are high quality.

Hey brother, here is the difference everyone misses. I am on a "preview" aka the paid version of CSP, which contains the RainFX option + some graphics nice thingies. You need to get the paid version of CSP in order to get the real rain aka RainFX. Hi, if you have done absolutely everything, please check my #2 final solution rain guide. But make sure in general in CSP that RainFX, WeatherFX, ParticlesFX are turned on. But if you did it all just check my second guide. I know how you feel, I had the same struggle long ago. You need to bind a button in Content Manager, either in buttons/patch/system one of these. Then keep in mind some cars don't have wiper scripts and the wipers might not work.
@@projectxmotorsport thing is, cars i tested actually had them, but problem is, that when press “speed up/slow down wipers”, it swipes only one time. Basically, when wipers are off and i press speed up button, it should start wiping unless i press “stop wipers” right?
i just installed pure and followed all these steps but i still dont have rain. also my menu doesnt look the same, i dont have the apps menu like you and also when in the CSP weather fx panel i only have the weather script, no controller script, Do i not have something installed correctly?
Thanks for the feedback. Some tracks sadly are not setupped with the RainFX, my advice will be to try other maps also big maps from Kunos and try the WeatherFX debug app -> debug rain and see if it will work. If nothing works I am on discord feel free to hop in!

I’m having trouble with the latest 1.80 preview. I’ve got the latest patches installed but when I check for updates on CSP it says 1.79 is the most up to date version and 1.80 preview won’t show up as an option. I’m a patron supporter ofc. No trouble with any of the other mods, just rain fx :(
so even, if you click "check for updates" still nothing? Restart CM. Also watch my 100% rain fix guide or install CSP by manually drag and dropping in assetto corsa folder.

Oh ok thanks my man, cause having problem when I installed the preview csp without the base itself. And was unsure if I needed the base or not and later on had problems when I launched the game and gave me sol planner error etc… anyways thanks again I’ll try to install the base CSP and after that the CSP Preview :)

Hey! Thanks for stopping by. My first assumption is that you don't have CSP 1.79 preview (which is paid version, link is in description) BUT if you do, install it and refresh the content manager. Feel free to hop in my discord and we can fix it, if you don't manage to fix it.
My sol apps are enabled, but I do not see them in the game, I have the latest CSP and sol and the rain fx and weather fx enabled too, I just do not see the apps in the game, like literally they are just not there for me! :( :(

Hey Scythe, I myself had G29 recently troubleshooted a lot of g29/920 for CarX and fixed non working. However for Assetto Corsa hmm my advice will be. 1. Uninstall G-hub and install again, check for new updates. A guy had old version before, which didn't work well with the wheel. 2. Rebind the controlls on Content Manager after reinstalling. 3. Replug the wheel after you do all the stuff. If nothing works you can always find me on discord buddy and when I am free I will gladly help you out. Link in description 🙂
Registering an account is free. Their paid service was probably for something else to install mods directly from the browser etc. The website is free, but if you still have issue join my discord and we will fix it.
Hi mate, I've checked just now and I see what Racedepartment did, haha very clever of them to put the paid service first to convince people to support them, nothing bad ofc they need to eat too. BUT I FOUND how to register for free, basically the option to register with basic account is located down below, once you scroll through the paid service there is a text saying "Join with a basic account here" NOW you click on "HERE" and it sends you to the register page.

Hey brother probably you didn't install it. Make sure to restart Content Manager after you install CSP Preview version. If you mean paid version do we speak the full version of CM, because sometimes people mistake paid version of Content Manager for everything, but yea full version of Content Manager does not include anything in regards to Custom Shaders Patch. Let me know, if you get stuck. Download winrar and install CSP Preview version again. You can always find me on my discord link in description.

hey brother, preview version is gotten from x4fab's patreon, please follow my "Full In-Depth Rain Guide" regarding how csp preview and pure etc work, this will explain a lot, you must always use latest versions and now I believe csp preview is bound to pure which is paid version of sol.

Hey brother, appreciate the feedback. Unfortunately, I haven't dialed much in servers, I don't want to mislead you with false info. I did made my own srp server trying to get a 3 lane traffic, but realized quickly i need a custom script. Haven't changed much, I remember playing with the time, not much with the csp extra doe.
For now I mainly cover issues CSP, SOL, mods and Content Manager and ofc traffic etc.

RainFX sol pure csp are the easiest stuff to fix for me, but I am not in everyone's computer to know whats there sadly.
@@projectxmotorsport this wasn't fully hate, i appreciate what you've done as this isn't a simple task, but when there is 6 different trouble shooting videos im trying to follow, that repeat the same stuff and have me over 2 hours worth of trouble shooting to get no where. I wouldnt call it lazyness, this comment was more out of aggrivation to it not working but also the confusion of redoing the same trouble shoots trying to following along with your video and download 30 different things.

I have everything . I have paid for the patron for both pure and the other the lights patch and have installed them but I do not have the app showing up to active and I don’t have any available version that came with them . I have the sound of rain but no rain is showing. Very confused

Hiya buddy thanks for your vids very informative, I am running pure candy and latest paid sol, it says the correct version new version in the info bit, but in weather FX there is no drop-down menu for Controller 😂 only PP filter which is set to pure candy… is this normal? rain works on the windshield and stuff and weather/sky is fine but I’m just trying to sort the rain look and puddles on the road for Revival project map in no Hesi, thanks for everything mate much appreciated

When I launch with preview build, the game crashes every time, but if I downgrade to the newest non- preveiw it launches just fine?
Hey brother, my first guess is that as a lot of people do, they delete CSP and install only the preview version. Now I want to point out immediately the "CSP Preview" is ONLY a feature aka (RainFX + Bug fixes & improvements) this is not the FULL CSP, so make sure you have installed normal CSP, then jump to that.
Also if that is no that case. I'd say that's a CSP bug and all you gotta do is uninstall CSP completely restart Content Manager, install CSP, upgrade to 1.79, drop the preview version whatever it is 1.80 or 1.79. Restart CM again just in case remember CM doesn't update data, so that's why we restart, that's why a lot of ppl still see missing cars, when they install big car packs, meanwhile they have everything, but it's just CM that didn't update the data. That's why we restart.
After all that, if it still crashes try to verify game data files from Steam -> rigth click game -> properties -> then verify game intergrity.
I'd strongly suggest to hop on my discord for help, because here I can only guess without seeing the problem and the crash log with my eyes.

Hey brother my advice is to watch my latest Rain Fix complete guide. Free CSP version is only (leaked), so you gotta dig third party website otherwise it costs $1.
The other thing is most people use bad cars, some cars just do not support the ParticleFX, so make sure your car is good mod with good scripts. You can download some car from no hesi servers at least the ones there are high quality.

Hey brother, here is the difference everyone misses. I am on a "preview" aka the paid version of CSP, which contains the RainFX option + some graphics nice thingies. You need to get the paid version of CSP in order to get the real rain aka RainFX.

Hi, if you have done absolutely everything, please check my #2 final solution rain guide. But make sure in general in CSP that RainFX, WeatherFX, ParticlesFX are turned on. But if you did it all just check my second guide. I know how you feel, I had the same struggle long ago. probably a stupid question, but how do i turn on my windscreen wipers, cant properly see while it's raining
You need to bind a button in Content Manager, either in buttons/patch/system one of these.
Then keep in mind some cars don't have wiper scripts and the wipers might not work.
@@projectxmotorsport thing is, cars i tested actually had them, but problem is, that when press “speed up/slow down wipers”, it swipes only one time. Basically, when wipers are off and i press speed up button, it should start wiping unless i press “stop wipers” right?

Well, even after ur tutorial, rain is working but my track wont get wet or get paddles, only grass are wet, any solutions?
Thanks for the feedback. Some tracks sadly are not setupped with the RainFX, my advice will be to try other maps also big maps from Kunos and try the WeatherFX debug app -> debug rain and see if it will work. If nothing works I am on discord feel free to hop in!

I’m having trouble with the latest 1.80 preview. I’ve got the latest patches installed but when I check for updates on CSP it says 1.79 is the most up to date version and 1.80 preview won’t show up as an option. I’m a patron supporter ofc. No trouble with any of the other mods, just rain fx :(
so even, if you click "check for updates" still nothing? Restart CM. Also watch my 100% rain fix guide or install CSP by manually drag and dropping in assetto corsa folder.

if you have full version of content manager, you can use the built in mod enabler, otherwise you can get it from the wet mod folder.

Hey brother, yes when you install base csp, it has all the foundation, then you install the csp preview as it is just small updates and additional options 🙂

And was unsure if I needed the base or not and later on had problems when I launched the game and gave me sol planner error etc… anyways thanks again I’ll try to install the base CSP and after that the CSP Preview :)

My sol apps are enabled, but I do not see them in the game, I have the latest CSP and sol and the rain fx and weather fx enabled too, I just do not see the apps in the game, like literally they are just not there for me! :( :(

Hey Scythe, I myself had G29 recently troubleshooted a lot of g29/920 for CarX and fixed non working. However for Assetto Corsa hmm my advice will be.
1. Uninstall G-hub and install again, check for new updates. A guy had old version before, which didn't work well with the wheel.
2. Rebind the controlls on Content Manager after reinstalling.
3. Replug the wheel after you do all the stuff.

Registering an account is free. Their paid service was probably for something else to install mods directly from the browser etc. The website is free, but if you still have issue join my discord and we will fix it.
Hi mate, I've checked just now and I see what Racedepartment did, haha very clever of them to put the paid service first to convince people to support them, nothing bad ofc they need to eat too. BUT I FOUND how to register for free, basically the option to register with basic account is located down below, once you scroll through the paid service there is a text saying "Join with a basic account here" NOW you click on "HERE" and it sends you to the register page.

Hey brother probably you didn't install it. Make sure to restart Content Manager after you install CSP Preview version. If you mean paid version do we speak the full version of CM, because sometimes people mistake paid version of Content Manager for everything, but yea full version of Content Manager does not include anything in regards to Custom Shaders Patch. Let me know, if you get stuck. Download winrar and install CSP Preview version again. You can always find me on my discord link in description.
