- Stupendo! Youngsters Kenny Anderson and Alonzo Mourning have great performances for team USA in the World Basketball Championship bronze medal game in 1990. Kenny makes some clutch baskets to force overtime and dishes out 10 assists, while Zo already at the age of 20 proves how good of a shotblocker he is by rejecting 8 shots. August 18, 1990.

I saw Kenny Anderson as a high school freshman. dude had such control! Zo Mourning staying at Gtown for all four years should be the model on on physical and mental maturity! Yes, the money's too deep, these days, but Zo deferring the 'deep money' is the reason he got a statue in Springfield!
Incredible footage! I've been looking for the 1990 World Championships and Goodwill Games featuring my dude Kenny Anderson! Looking for the game when the US played either the Soviets or Russians. Kenny made a sic move! He was either doubled or tripled team. He dribbled behind his back twice, rose and shot the j, missed and grabbed his own rebound, then dropped a dime to Billy Owens for the lay in. It was fantastic! Comparable to the move he put on Bobby Hurley! LOL Great upload my dude!

This has to be the biggest collapse in the history of our basketball team. We as an island 🌴 missed out on a golden opportunity in winning a bronze medal 🥉 in the World 🌎 Championship competition. A game that we had practically won. We turned the ball 🏀 over. This was heartbreaking!😡

I've said it before and ill say it again if mourning was a true 7fter like robinson Ewing olajuwon,he was about 6ft9 and was still hard to deal with.
It's a little embarrassing that we had to go to OT to beat this squad. ;-( But other than Kenny and Zo, who did we have playing? Todd Day was nice. But our D was raggeDy.

Kenny Williams couldn't get enough playing time in the NBA because the Pacers thought Rik Smits was the man. Pacers have no NBA championships to this day because of that.
