In this video I rank my top 10 metal detecting finds for this year. Original music by Brad Martin www.GMMD.us / greenmountainmetaldete... / green.mountain.metal.d...
I loved the "13" button! That's a nice piece of history there. I'm sure it was difficult to pick which treasures were your most incredible finds. Awesome wrap up Brad.
What a fun overview of your favorite treasures of the year.. Thank you for taking us along and sharing.. Early 'Happy New Year' to you and your family Brad..
This was a great show! Wonderful finds that captured such a turbulent time in our history! Thanks, Brad, for sharing with us. The Hessians were German soldiers hired by England to fight against us. They were so brutal, especially to the American women, the Hessians were hauled back to Germany to ply their trade in their own country. What an incredibly rare find. Congratulations!😊
I remember how excited you were when you found the flintlock. All these are super interesting. Thank you. I hope you find more amazing goodies in 2024.
Amazing finds! Thank you for sharing your hobby with all of us. One of the best things about Fridays is watching your channel to see what treasures you have found. Thanks Brad!
Hi Brad I really like all your videos especially this one ! I'm always commenting to my wife about something you've un-earthed ! WE live in France and Florida and over here in France yesterday I found the same cross (Crucifix ) # 8. Also I have several buttons like the 13 ! Lots of your finds match things I find over here! I'm near a town called Gisors where there is a Knights of Templar Castle ruins !! Thanks again I really enjoyed it ! Your pal Kevin in France and Florida
All so cool! I love how thrilled you are when you discover what is found in each of these ten extraordinary items! Keep Detecting Brad! Your discoveries are just as amazing to us too! Thank-you!
The cross brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for sharing a side of Vermont I have never seen. I grew up in Bennington County and hiked and roamed all over but metal detecting was not a thing then. God Bless you. Keep finding.
Since I started watching metal detecting videos, this is the single most exciting one that I’ve seen. I loved this video. Those are some seriously impressive treasures.
Just watched your top 10 of 2023. I remember each find and love watching your channel. Wish i could get out and do that with you. Best wishes and God be with you in 2024!
I think the 13 button was my favorite find that you dug this year!!! You Definitely had a Great Year!!! Happy New Year to you and your Family!!! God Bless Us All!!!
Happy for the recap... I recall the Hoover token, and am as jealous now as I was then. Love tokens and the stories they tell. Coins are great. But there is something special about a cool token that makes your day.
My new year’s resolution is to do more metal detecting in my free time. Main thing holding me back is finding spots and getting permission. Really enjoyed your videos this year and looking forward to all the new ones to come next year.
A heart felt thankyou for another year of amazing viewing from one of the very best content presenters out there. Brad, I wish you, your family and your friends nothing but the best for 2024. Warmest regards from Perth, Western Australia.
That was great going through your best finds of 2023, I found myself grinning at each one. Everytime your find is a important piece you gasp and drop the it and with that the fun begins. Thanks again for taking me to a plot of land where I lose myself in your adventures.
Great finds! You must be getting a very valuable coin collection, plus the priceless reward of sharing your treasures with us. Looking forward to 2024 digs, thank you.
What a great video showing the years greatest finds! This is why I love watching your videos, along with the more simple finds, history means something to me!
My friend found the same Dr. Kilmers bottle here in NC under his 1920's house. Many anti-inflamatory plants do help with kidney disease though I can't vouch for Dr. Kilmer ;)
I love vicariously thrilling to your cool historic finds. I’ve lived in Colorado my whole life, so finds as old as the ones you get are nearly non-existent.
Great finds of 2023 Brad ! Believe it or not I found 2 slivers 1 1833 US half dime and a Spanish silver rial ! I would love to find a revolutionary Continental army button one day ! Here’s to 2024 May it bring us good fortune, and great health and maybe peace on earth 🙏 MC
The English word dollar actually comes from the German word thaler. Thaler itself comes from Sankt Joachimsthaler, the name for coins minted in German Sankt Joachimsthal (“St. Joachim's Valley”), now Jáchymov, Czech Republic. Just a bit of trivia.
Brad, great job with your Top Ten finds. Your little state has had an amazing history as exemplified by the coins, buttons, and relics you have resurrected.
I like the Hoover token. A couple years ago I dug a Hoover pin. An elephant balanced on a circle with the word Hoover across the elephant and GOP in the circle. It still has some enamel still intact.
Wow! Amazing year for you! I am curious to know what the oldest coin you have found! Thank you for sharing the wonderful commentary and finds you have shown us all these years!🎉
I loved the "13" button! That's a nice piece of history there. I'm sure it was difficult to pick which treasures were your most incredible finds. Awesome wrap up Brad.

Love the 2023 wrap up. Hi from Hampshire in England. You've had a fantastic year. Looking forward to more treasures in 2024.
Your number one of the list of '23, the Hessian's Pay, made me happy. That's where I am from. Cool find on the other side of the planet.
Hello, like your show. I actually found a Dr. Kilmers swamp root kidney cure sample bottle myself. Found it digging an old dump site when I was a kid.
