Been trying to get ombre baby boomer with dip powder but ends up like a normal French manicure, I'm going to try this method next time I do my nails, thank you for the video!

Can't wait to try this method on my nails! How do you remove the dip powder when you have to do the refill? I find it really difficult with acetone 😔
I mostly use a nail drill. I leave a thin layer on the nail and dip them again.

I am super new (like, haven’t gotten my kit yet new) so bare with the possibly dumb questions- but are you cross-contaminating colors this way?
If you tap off excess power or brush if off it should be fine 😉 If you are really concerned about that, you can also transfer some power to a separate container like cupcake liner or a plastic shot glass
I've tried several times to apply dip powder, but at some point few days later the layer cracks. The lenght of the nails is like yours in this video, so not too long. I can't understand if I have to build an arch like I would do using uv nail gel.. or if I simply have to dip more times... 🤷♀️ can you help me?
You could try building a little bit of the apex, (I don't really need to do that because my nails have a strong c-curve.)

You can also keep your gel base if that's working for you, leave a rough surface and then use dip just for the colour coat :) Hope that helps!
