Awesome piece on relationships. Ekta told about being stuck in your younger years because inner child isn't healed and generally it's when we get cheated. Would like to listen on this more. The points on love language were awesome btw.

I connect with Ranveer through the podcast and laugh at the same moments he does. He feels like a bro of the same age as me. And YES, today I confirm that romance (Bollywood) movies has ruined me from a very young age 😂😂😂

Read my theory on how movies are destroying love - Sex is utmost thing in a relationship and ultimate form in love . Doing it casually with anyone makes it less valuable and once anything is less valuable people do it easily and hence cheating became very common . Physical stuff is meant to be in between two couple . And also if you share your body with anyone then just like every thing in the universe if it is accessible to anyone around or you can say to more people it is obvious the body becomes less worthy and be it any gender. If a guy had many relationships in past but want someone to be pure than it is wrong but if any of gender believed in genuine relationship and wants the same quality for their partner then there is nothing wrong. Now i would also like to say who is at fault , i believe we all are . Mostly actors - how ? -. They do physical stuff and intimacy and justify it in the name of art or job but i would say job is not the ultimate thing in the world that you can do anything in the name of it. Common people watch it and repeat the same thing and again like i said before it makes utmost thing less valuable.

I think in early ages of our youth we are in love with the whole concept of love and not really in love with the person you are with ... so when reality hits you things go bad ... I think everyone should figure out what the want in a partner where this relation is going every thing ... when we study every career before choosing a specific one how can we ignore our love life after all you are giving your emotional control in that one person's hand ... so my dear friends know your needs and expectations and also know your partners needs and expectations before getting emotionally committed...

I love being alone, i enjoy my own company, i have lived my whole life as single, am still single, people also ask me oh, r u alone, but each time i tell them, this is the way I am, i love reading spiritual books, listen to Podcasts, i go on a walk, i greet everyone I meet with a smile, meditate, walk, spend time with friends, spend time with yourself, love your own company, this listening to sad songs is that i have to leave it, sometimes I do listen but then i feel sad, depressed,. Never hear sad songs, yes write, maintain a journal, Ultimately Establish a relationship with Krishna, 🥰 ❤️ or whomever you worship, That's the ultimate fulfillment in life.

A doubt: people before us got into arranged marriages, they lived in joint families, raised kids, had fights, had misunderstandings, did sacrifices and made their marriage work without knowing each other properly, without exploring their sexual needs. Are those not happy marriages. Today couples are not even ready to raise kids. And as a society, that is a big problem…

@@ronitlenka9205 the society wants/forces us to make sacrifices and live like victims. There is a difference in genuinely BEING a victim and living with a victim mentality. I am a victim but don't have a victim mentality. Hope u get the difference.

      @THE ZOLDICS I agree!
But we cannot disagree with the fact that only 19.5% of the individual stay single forever in their whole life...that means more than half a population marry every year...and to sustain a good marriage life I believe whatever ideology and theories Ekta ma'am gave could be applied to receive the best out of the marriage.

    It's not always female.

Ohh damnn , Ekta just disclosed a very imp point about men & women relationships. If a guy is opening to his girl, her girl won't take it as an open minded that he also get hurts by something or someone! And that's why men are not showing their emotions. But honestly from my pov if a girl who's genuinely want to be with you & want to see you happy. She'll find a way to know you better with time & that makes her adorable ❤

Q1: 33:43 - that means she didn't move on ? in movie she was ready to marry Aman.. ...like how...i mean why then !? 🤔
Q2: 59:43 - Exactly~ this question has been living in my mind for a long time!! Am still confused about this😕!
Q3: what about srk's role 'Raj Aryan' in Mohabbatein..? He was so calm. Shall we say he didn't heal? But its his choice right? and he was kind of glad with his unconditional love~ 🤔
Q4: Same with Dimple Cheema (Vikram Batra's love )... 🤔 she didn't heal? that means its a red flag ? That means you should move on ? then what about personal choices ?🤔
[ edit- she is didn't marry any other man right ~ ]
    AM CONFUSED~ somebody plz explain ! 😭 😭

The concept of true love has just vanished. I am still wondering about the 60 yrs old woman who was single after her breakup in her teenage/twenties, can her love be not described as true love instead of saying that she was never healed from that trauma? Yes, it must have been traumatic. But it can also be purest form of true love.

    Such profound discussions taken up.
I am 40 yr woman. Had a break up of a 11 yr old relationship in my 30s..my first and only love relationship.. Truly couldn't forget my past even after 9 yrs of my break up, even after having a good husband and a daughter... But this podcast has been a bit of an eye opener wen Ekta said that one of her 60 yr old patient still carried the baggage of her break up...
Uff any break up is hard esp if it's one sided...

At 43:45 ... abt the stonewalling I would also like to say that resolving the fight at the very moment is also not very suitable or yk beneficial.
Because when any one of the person or both of them are in the fight mode it is likely that they are more prone to emotional side and less of the logical side.
When me and my boyfriend have fights , I always feel overwhelmed to solve the issue at that particular moment.
I ask him yk to give me like atleast half an hour to "think" rationally over it .
    I hope it made sense.
(I'm going to be a psychologist too!)

You are still choosing a healthy route by communicating that you need time. So this is not stonewalling. Way to go❤

Except for the pre-marital sex topic (which is very disgusting to have physical relation before marriage with others) and the 'reasons' for cheating topic (cause there is no reason for cheating)... other than that I agree everything she said...for my ratings she is 8 out of 10👍

Media plays very important role in today's generation mind.
Adult movies, vulgarity, foul language comes with 'U' certificate.
    On OTT is easily accessible.
Strong guidlines should be put on media
