I already knew she would have been half Japanese to be honest. Her surname would be a dead giveaway and she does slightly have an Asian look like Todd Haberkorn does (he is of Vietnamese descent).
If the American version of Who Do You Think You Are? were to do an episode I wish they did one on Trina Nishimura. Just hearing about her ancestry and family background sounds very interesting. But I highly doubt it. It would be interesting if they did though.
Imagine if she did a role that was voiced by Sarah Emi Bridcutt. If nobody knew the languages they'd guess Bridcutt did the dub and Nishimura the original ;)
Man, Steins Gate english dub is so awesome, I loved her as Makise Kurisu. Best anime ever made and best voice actors. And of course I love her as Mikasa too.
Trina was one of my fave people to have on camera. She was very energetic! Also very information on how the process works. I know a lot of people that dislike the english dubs because how the meanings are different. She gives you insight to why that is that way.

I did not know Trina was half Japanese. I didn't know she was 1/8 German,1/8 Russian,1/8 Scottish and 1/8 Irish. The more you know.

I love her performance as Mikasa for sure, but she’s also amazing as Kurisu in Steins;Gate
