Something disturbing I'd like to point out is that those crabs being such meanies actually isn't that far from reality: coconut crabs are known to prey on sea birds while they roost at night.
the art style makes neuvillette look even more kindly, the little otter was adorable i was sad when i saw the broken shell, but then the ending was very wholesome.
