To the counterculture he was uncool. I was from that hippie generation and shared that opinion. But now that I'm old I'm not so harsh in my judgments. He was a traditional showbiz entertainer. The old generation schooled him. He listened and respected them and learned the tricks of the trade. He put himself out there, earned the glory and suffered the slings and arrows. He gave it his all. The man has guts. Give him credit whether you like him or not.
Some MDA videos need to be enhanced a bit, this is by far one. One the best 1970s-2010s Wayne newton performance. Absolute command, and great songs picked. This video recording is a bit low quality, a pity.
