I’m not sure if this is something people even take notice of, it’s a weird specific thing that is probably specific to me, but the way someone starts a verse (especially when they’re coming in as a feature) is one if my favorite parts of hip hop and there’s certain rappers where I just love how they come in on every feature, Slug is one of those so was DOOM. I’ve been rapping for a long time now and I’ve grown a lot from when I was in high school starting, but even those early days making songs with my friends I remember consciously thinking about how I’d come in on the feature, I’d always want to be second because of that haha
I'm looking at Brother Ali's guote and it makes me miss mine. I had wanted for years to have it that long but had to trim it for work. (It was that long until a couple of months ago.)
