She had a stable, economically well-off upbringing to live in Stamford, Connecticut, and was imparted good values and work ethics.
Yet NONE OF THIS prevented her from being the victim of a hate crime. And it won't per se help any other black person, Jew, Muslim, lesbian, etc., from being a victim of a hate crime, either. So these talking points, which are the focus of her organization, will not help prevent hate crimes against those who follow her.

The most ridiculous statement I heard in this hearing had to be Elleen Hershenov saying that white nationalism is a euphemism for white supremacy. You would never hear this sort of thing said about Zionists or African nationalists in their own nations, so why is it that any sort of white collective is so condemned?

THE FIRE RISES
Every Congressional hearing I've watched over the last several years has been a complete and total embarrassment/ disgrace.
First, you strip away a man's ability to express his point of view, including his right to state the obvious. Then, you publicly vilify that man while ensuring he is given no opportunity to defend himself. You effectively criminalize his perspective by taking away his ability to express it. You also destroy his ties to the community by convincing everyone that his heritage and his history are evil and wrong, and that he deserves no place at the table because of the color of his skin. You convince this man that he should not sire any children, because of the evil that is inherent to his existence. You turn his friends and family against him, not all at once, but one day at a time through agenda-driven reporting. Over time, you essentially strip this man of his will to live. What is the inevitable outcome for this man? He will either take his own life, as so many Whites are doing today, or he will violently lash out in retaliation for the crimes you have committed against him. I am starting to understand how an otherwise mild-mannered and reasonable White man can be driven to extreme violence... I am starting to see how a civil war can come to pass.
