CORRECTION: When discussing Disney Destiny I should have said "slightly upscaled version of the Dream class". Destiny is a Wish class. Apologies. Are you booked on any of these giants featured here?
The Disney ship looks alright for a modern cruise ship. The stern isn't too boxy, and the paint scheme is pretty stylish. Star Of The Seas looks like an amusement park at sea, and the others fit the typical casino resort-style, which must be what the people want.
Have seen Brilliant Lady twice now by chance when on other cruises, Spotted her in Civitavecchia back in May and in Malaga just last month as its doing its trials. I'm also a little spooked out to see that she will be in Miami the same day I might be if im on the QE sailing im aiming for!
I like all the Grand class ships that have the public balcony on top of the bridge. I used to love the Skywalker lounge too especially at the back of the ship, not inboard. I like Coral Princess too, a little smaller with a wrap-around promenade on deck 7. Too bad its sister ship Island Princess got ruined by adding mini-suites at the back of deck 7 so you cannot walk around the complete promenade.
@@ANathan123 I was basing the gt off AIS data, as shipyard build info is often known to list the contracted gt and often doesn't showcase the final gt once the ship is classified and registered. However on re-listening to this, my whole sentence is incorrect actually, as the Disney Destiny is a Wish class, so I should have said the Wish Class is an upscaled version of the Dream class introduced in 2011. Thanks for pointing out the discrepancy.
I will book on none of these potential floating death traps. Just save up for another Holland America cruise. More traditional and like Cunard the destination is what you go for not what takes you there. That’s why I like Margaritaville or Celestial if doing the Greek isles.
Different people have different tastes AND different budgets. People who put down things they don't like just because they are not to their taste, tend not to be the most tolerant of diversity.
@ you had to make it political! I’m sorry I rather sail on the Paradise v Mardi Gras. Why because there’s to many people. Also it’s a cruise not an amusement park.
@@nordisk1874 Fair enough, sorry for using a word like diversity which sets off alarms for many people. So please replace 'diversity' in my previous post with 'people who are different to ourselves'.
@ again dude I don’t want an amusement park on a cruise! Also a cruise on the Paradise is more diverse then anywhere so you’re just being racist. Which it typical for a leftist. I’m only 41 and I grew up when a cruise was a cruise.

I am on Disney Adventure.
Thanks for your honesty
I'm booked on the Destiny and the Adventure - can't wait!!
I'm looking forward to seeing Norwegian Aqua
I am pleased that at the same time smaller cruise ships are still being built. Those giants are bof for me but each to his own. Great video Chris.
Smaller ships are very nice
Wooooow.. jenis kapal pesiar yang sangat megah dan besar..
Hope passengers enjoy these ships. Only MSC looks appealing to me.

I prefer the smaller ships - other than QM2 which is my favourite but it doesn't have the numbers of passengers as these others
QM2 is excellent.
QM2 is very special
The popularity of cruises goes up and so do the prices!
That’s inflation for you!
Sorry, none of those giants are for me - give me a good old Grand class ship any day!

@ I agree about Coral and Island!
Relax ! Don't do it.
Oh come on someone was going to say it.😂
😂
You and Frankie!!
My idea of hell on sea - will stick to the smaller Cruise ships
Are you going to make a PhD?
Maybe one day 😉
The Disney Destiny is not a slightly larger ship compared to the Wish. They are exactly the same
Disney Destiny is projected to be 256gt ‘larger’ than Wish… as was Treasure.
@@ChrisFrameOfficial and where did you get that information because everywhere says the same gross tonnage including the shipyard where it’s built

Why do you think they are potential floating death traps opposed to Holland America or Cunard? I am interested to know 🤔
Dreadful. I would not want to be onboard any of this boxes.

……and so does the environmental damage.
