This is over 8 years old and still by far the best drum rendition!!! Have gone down the TH-cam spiral and watched many from Sima's version to the original 1979 Giant's stadium concert and keep coming back. The double strike and lefty play style is simply amazing!!! Long live Boston!!!
yess, i have seen some covers by him years ago. Peter did an awesome job on the playing, mixing and song choice. Nice to see a big kit Simom Philips style too.
Totally enjoyed the entire song ! You did a great job. That's a lot of work on that song and you sounded great! And to answer a question posted in the comments, you can never have enough cymbals!!
Extremely well done. I learned a couple of things watching you play this one. I haven't covered it since 1977, (I'm old, lol), so your cover rally helped. I love your kit! I do like me some great sounding cymbals!
Reminds me of high school totally ... and playing this on the road in the late 80's ... and what an incredible talent Brad Delp had. He is missed. Awesome job as usual, Petar!! Keep 'em coming!
When I saw this video listed I wasn't going to click it because I have seen enough covers of this song that were "just too sad (i.e. pathetic) but I am so glad I gave it a listen. OMG...What an awesome job! Like another poster said...close your eyes and you'd swear it was Sib at the kit! Thank you for an enjoyable video!!!!!
used the girls unit to send you a message didnt think the greatest rock song could be improved on those two stik klix after you silence the platters at the third riff add a ton am 52 now and have been playing guitar since i was 13 bass and hacked around on drums and keys harmonica autoharp etc it still amazes me how subtle touches like the 2 klix can add so much this video and your others qualify outstanding saw them during the dont look back tour with ambrosia in wva the crowd was jammed in so tight brad begged everybody to take one step back then the stage barrier collapsed people were hurt and despite the collamity they came back on and rocked the house down a few days later the who/cinci happened and fest seating was outlawed for 20 years the riverbend show later on was electrical also keep banging out the good ones rock on
BRILLIANT! do you play always with the right snare hand? or only fast songs? left handed? see kiddies, don't ever let anyone tell you you can't play left handed.
just fun...thnx buddy.. great style as always...sound is studio quality..of cource I wonder how you manage to make all these different tunes sound as the original drumming with the same kit?...Anyway bottom line is EXCELLENT...
