Whats the western game at 6:07??? Looks VERY similar to one i played as a kid in the arcade. I was poor and could only afford the .25 games, and there were like 3 at the arcade I went to, and one was a western shooter that looks VERY MUCH like this (from what I can remember).

Looks great! Any idea how well it's configured for MAME? Games work out of the box, controller is configured etc.? Otherwise, wouldn't be a benefit over using emulators for free. I'm into 70s/80s, the old consoles are bound to work fine but MAME's always been a 'mare, trying to find right version for a ROM, get the gamepad working etc.!

Yes that's correct mate, although some smaller updates can be done online at home if you want to. Check out some other videos you will be amazed. I got a great video coming up soon.
Hi, I'm looking to purchase a retro console and came across the Elite V2 console and your posts. How does this device differ from a raspberry pi or some of the cheaper emulator consoles? On lightningmodz, theres only the new 2.4 software version available at £300 so wanat to make sure its all singing all dancing first before purchasing. Do you have to buy the software updates frequently and will the console still work if you don't keep upgrading etc? Also, how easy is it to add games yourself? Thanks
Hi. Thanks for messaging. The V2 Elite is world's better than any Raspberry Pi or any cheaper console. This console can handle the more demanding games where as the cheaper consoles can't keep up. You will struggle to find any duplicate games here and lightning modz have carefully created the games list so 99% of gsmes run flawlessly. The 2.4 is the latest version so if you buy that your all good to go. Just need to choose your controller type. There are usually 2 major updates a year for £40 then several free minor ones too. You don't have to upgrade but if you leave it for ages then you will be forced to update if you want the newer material. If you never update your system it will just stay and run as is. We also have constant support from the company and the user lounge, please see my video with 131 game clips for info. Best money I have ever spent. You can add games yourself and it is easy but with over 23k I've not bothered. If I want a game I let lmodz know and they add it to the next update. Appreciate the sub. Cheers.

@user-qe1ri2gs7d Hi. You get the mini pc. Power supply and 1 or 2 controllers, depends on what you order, I'm sure I got a hdmi too. You just plug it all in and Power up. Oh yes you get cable for charging controllers too. Might want to give them a bit of charge first. Once you turn on the mini pc it takes a short while to get ready first time then once on you press the pairing button on controller and all done. Some people have said there controllers was not pre paired but this I'm told is easy. You shouldn't have to pair it. I know where the pairing options are.

I thought our dollar sucked against the US dollar.... Damn Canadian money is like USELESS compared to UK money..... £324(pound sterling, which i am assuming is UK?) Is $557.80CAD.... Still not bad considering everything is done for you, but then there is shipping and customs fees. Damn.... Got my hopes up on this.

I have to say, though, I have not got a lightgun as I use a Bluetooth mouse, and I'm not worried about a steering wheel at all, and I'd highly recommend still getting a machine. Incredible piece of kit and with every update bring more systems and games and improvements.

Hi. MAME works great straight out of the box. Mame and FBneo are two of my fav consoles. Really easy controls and simple great games.

You might need a mouse and keyboard for spectrum, c64 and amstrad but not every game.
