That's a neat Trilogy (?), I guess. You just have the three important characters from the first game, plus one new character with the witch. Basically all the baggage from the old games are gone. So, fresh start for a new story, and possibly another trilogy of games. If this entry sells well enough for the devs and publishers to make them think it worth their while.

I'm not really happy about the voice change, but I guess it fits better in a way, as an Asian myself, I found the guy that did his voice for the past 2 games fantastic.

He managed to deliver the one liners perfectly, the sounds he made when he attacks where very good and, Hell, he WAS Lo Wang at that point (for the remakes, that is. We can't never forget the OG Lo Wang and OG VA for him). So, when it was known that they changed Lo Wang's voice, it felt weird, and at that point a bad choice. Though, don't get me wrong, this new guy isn't bad. He manages to do Lo Wang well, but... well, if you ask me who do Lo Wang better, my money will always be on Jason Liebrecht.

Reason is because he just doesn't have the same stereotypical asian accent that the other guy had. As an Asian myself, I really enjoyed the previous 2 games with the previous voice actor, plus the voice worked well with Hoji, whilst the new voice actor does an amazing job at channeling Lo Wang, he just doesn't ring the same and it clashes with Hoji most of the time.
It ain't the same without Mordekai. I agree that the new VA is great for the Asian aspect of Wang, but he sounds a bit too soft to be a pure sarcastic Wang we know and love. The current one lacks a bit of the sassy and stringy tone old Wang had

@@PapaRunebeard I don’t know but the game implied that the Shadow Warrior 2 characters are dead and the futuristic city that Zilla made in the second game and a lot of the futuristic chi gadgets and guns has been said to have been destroyed by the Dragon according to Lo Wang at the beginning explaining why we don’t see all of the futuristic stuff and the characters from the second game. It’s kinda odd how Kamiko isn’t mentioned once in Shadow Warrior 3
Like the first 2, this game is tons of fun and tons of laughs. Definitely worth checking out if you get a chance!
