This deserved more than 55K views. I bawled while watching this. And what a great interviewer, Sarah! Most of the time it was Iza telling her story. Walang interjection like Abunda. Grabeh. Iza, I am in awe.
That’s the reason why I wouldn’t end my life. For us, when our life ended, tapos na. Naka rest na kami. But the guilt you will left to your entire family is different. If you are reading this, please, seek professional help and have faith na kaya mo. ❤️ Your emotions are valid.
You'll know your already healed from hurt when you can tell your story to the world. Godbless you Iza, may your story be an eye opener to someone whose also encountering the same struggle.
What a tower of strength, admirable not just as a premier actress but how she powered through her personal struggles to be who she is now. Now I understand why there's this certain kind of depth to the beauty that she exudes.
just realized how a brave woman Iza is... i mean she may went through a lot, bumps in life an all but she managed to be the best version of herself and now living a wonderful life... For sure Iza's mom is so proud of her. this story is so inspiring it was painful yes but it is a story of triumph maybe not for iza's mom but Iza opening her mom's story will somehow help others who have this kind of situation.
Naiyak ako at kinilabutan. The truth will set you free. This inspires me to be a better person. To be honest and do what is right and good.
I cried while watching this show. It's true that it is very important to have a partner who will understand your past, accept you, guide you and support you all the way. I love Iza Calzado more and Sarah Meir for this all-out interview.
This isn't just about mental health. It's also about surviving the suicide of a loved one. Thank you, She Talks Asia, Sarah Meier, and Iza Calzado. Carry on.
I felt the darkness the pain amd anguish esp when you said you were lost after your mom died you dint know wgere to go. I felt the same when i lost my mom at 22. And i felt wmpowered wheb you said you wanted to be the improved version of your parents thank you for speaking up Iza
🥺😔 depression is a serious topic for me. The way iza talks i'd imagine on what she's been through , pls dont judge on her mother. Iza ❤️ hugs to you.
Watched this video after watching today her MMK episode, and days ago she gave birth to her wonderful child and now a mother..... Too much take always for this video, God Bless Ms. Izzadora...
Thank you for sharing your story! I am very amaze that despite of everything you witness in your childhood, your struggles and maybe trauma, you still have the love for your parents, you never hate them. I always hear everytime you share your mom's episode you say: "but I understand her". Sharing this story and claiming it is a big thing. Thank you!
This is so inspiring to people who witness love one with mental illness. It is a process of healing to people who went through it and your story would be inspiration to them. Your such a strong person to finally talking about it. Thank you for your story.
I can relate with you iza..my father suffers the same sickness..it was really hard..the only diference is my dad died due to heart attack..but his life was hard and i admire him so much..and all i pray is sana no more pain and emotional suffering for him..he deserve all the happiness and peace the heaven could give..
Thanks for sharing your Moms story Ms. Iza. It takes courage to talked about what happened to your Mom and what she had been through. We learned a lot from your story. Thanks for opening our eyes that this topic is happening now a days but we are not open to talked nd asked help about it. I admire you more. We love you. Thanks for being a blessing!!!
Miss Iza, this story will definitely inspire many people who are going through the same thing. And truly you are going to be the best mom Deia could ask for.
I cried buckets at the vulnerability and the lesson of hope. Thank you Iza for sharing your journey. Thank you Sarah for the beautiful words. Thank you both!
Thanks for sharing your story. We have our own struggles but the take away is there's always hope and no matter what there's a God who's in control of everything. Sometimes we don't let Him do his thing because we always want to be in control. Everyday we should surrender everything to Him, for Him is enough for us already
Wow, what a powerful conversation. I've always loved Iza Calzado's spirit and work and what she stands for and projects herself. Because behind that is a resilient and strong woman. Privileged to hear your story Iza. Themes of shame and guilt, as well as mental health needs to be discussed and normalized in our Filipino culture and society. Well done She Talks Asia.
What a wonderful story Iza.. You are such a strong and empowered woman.. I admired how you overcome all the journey you went thru.. God bless you.. I cannot wait to see you as mom in the very near future..
💖 Thank you for sharing your story, your vulnerability. I hope that a lot of people found inspiration in your growth and your healing, just like I have. May God continue to use you as an instrument to others. May God continue to mould you each day. May God bless you always. 💖
I have couple of friends same situations,it is very important to deal with it but with LOTS of prayers God listens God is good. God Bless You Iza and thanks for sharing your story
Just want to share my story... But, i love my family especially my mom. As of now hindi padin nasosolve yung pinagdadaanan ko pero i know sa help ng family and ni Lord I know malalampasan ko din to. IN JESUS NAME WE PRAY.. amen and amen
It's nice I shared my birthday with this brave woman. Talking about this means a lot considering depression, mental issues and suicide is still a taboo in our Filipino society. People talked much about it but the true authentic appreciation and understanding about this is not yet given to these issues. Hopefully everyone understands that these mentioned issues will be dealt properly. It's not through celebration that these are cool or nice, but at least they exist and when help is needed please extend a hand. And as for Ms. Iza Calzado, thank you for the courage to tell that these things exist and it is essential to understand everything about it. Before it's too late.

Napaka artista talaga🙄
Do you have any idea how difficult it is to share personal stories out in public? Not to mention she is a celebrity.. Tsk.. Kawawa naman po kayo! Mukhang kulang ka sa aruga 😑
purple tea Nope, she is a humble person ☺️ What do you mean Artista? In English, celebrity but this is only her work.
purple tea Napaka Insensitive nyo po🙄
Npaka tanga mo po talaga! Duh!
