  • UNMARKED South Central Ambulance Service Volvo V70 responding to an unknown incident.
This vehicle is fitted with a very unique lighting and siren system, one of the noticeable things is the LED Rotating Beacon on the room (Whelen L30?). Also the strange sounding sirens, I don't know what siren it is
Many thanks to the Officer for the Blue light DEMO at the end of the video

The tones sounds pretty standard to me, it's surely a Whelen siren. (Exact model is unknown cuz many of their model shares the same tones)
Whelen sirens are used widely in the UK but most of those are non-programmable units or the lights and siren upfitters are just too lazy to make changes to the siren unit that almost all the units plays the same default siren tones.
The siren tones recorded in this video are the programmed tones (commonly used in US and Europe) on a Whelen siren system, just the tones that are less frequently used.

Whelen Euro siren has around 20 tones which are programmed by pushing a button on the unit
