Thanks to the taber family for making this video, very informative! Thought she must have great back story. Suppose she was upgraded to the b6 boiler when rebuilt. Nearest b5 engine to her in England is 9904 Of 4/1904 road engine Leezie Lindsay and Repatriated from Australia. The usual place for the brass plate is underneath the steam chest, unless it was different in Australia. Do you run the governor all the time? It usually is only belted up if you were powering saw bench or thrashing drum. Great video👍. Thank you
Lovely Video, Cracking looking engine as well 👌 May I ask if you have any further info on one of its owners, George Southern? I ask as we own Foden Traction Engine number 2072 which George apparently owned for many years as well. However information seems to be very hard to come by, plus we can't find any history for her before his ownership. Kindest Regards, Woody
