The British grenadiers were the best in the world at the time not the French grenadiers. It’s a damn shame there wasn’t more of them. Most major European nations at the time had their own variants of grenadiers.

Did you forget that Napoleon himself said the British troops were the best. You can ask Lord Horatio Nelson how he like both French and the Spanish at sea. Also by the way the Spanish were a weakening power in 1815. One of the high points of their Empire was a few hundred years earlier when they tried to attack England twice but failed and lost billions equal in todays money. The main issue wasn't the quality of troops, it was extending logistics through an immense, scorched and hostile landscape in winter. No grenadier can fight on an empty belly in the frozen steppe.

I see a few of these Grenadiers under 6ft. Plus overweight, NEVER!!...I applaud them for the reinacting but its the same way with the American Civil War actors some especially Confederates weighing over 350lbs when food in the Southern Army was scarce.
Too much tacos,french fries and beer ! Those guys couldn't be in overweight. They often had to walk 20 miles a day ! 🤣🤣 The grenadiers had to be at least 5'11", meaning 1m80.

The simple fact is the frogs can one the best militaries in Europe other than Germany. Both countries remain a laughing stock and are incapable of their own defense due to socialist polices across the board. Both countries chose to allow migrants to come in and take advantage of their own systems of socialist policies therefore take away money that should be spent on defense and infrastructure. The sad part is that in is not just France and Germany. It is the whole continent of Europe because any country that is a member of the European Union has to abide by their mandates or policies.
