Well, the element dust is so annoying to get on normal resource amounts, and apart from that you probably don’t realise that 1000 element dust creates one unstable element

But yea, pretty much, and I can't say it bothers me, element being more available overall makes stuff like the Tek saddles and Tek armour more viable in pvp, as it's not quite so much of a resource investment to use the abilities themselves. And if it helps narrow the gap between the Alpha tribe and the rest of a server, I'm okay with it. Though I suppose the alpha tribe will have a benefit of getting to Tek quicker as well so maybe that part won't matter as much. Speaking personally as someone who dips his toes into pvp but has had a solo tribe on a friends private pve server that I basically use as Minecraft for grown ups. I'm glad I don't have to farm bosses to build my Tek Extinction base (building with a. Cliff platform on the tip of the tallest peak in Sanctuary, it's awesome 😎).
I would like to also point out there is a hard cap on all harvesting dinos. Any damage you add past 500 is wasted as it wont give you any further increase to how much you get. This is a balance thing to prevent you from pumping 1k or more damage and getting crazy amounts of resources. So get to 500 and stop and put the rest into weight. The only thing putting more than 500 into damage does is damage against other dinos.

Indeed with a good pick too, defending a hard node and harvested it with my 450% mantis with 210% pick and got 1000 element plus huge amounts of shards and dust
For Element veins use a mantis to harvest because you can only use metal tools or a therezino from what I've heard and bring a few beefy gigas with good damage
Thanks for the tip, I usually play on boosted servers so this will get me more, but the server I play mostly has dino stats and levels boosted anyway. Resource gain is only x20, which compared to other servers Ive seen is fairly low for being boosted
FYI, the doedec can actually harvest the double-posted streetlights, but you need to carry it with a bird to the lamp. That's also the best way to doedec harvest anyways to get around more quickly and let the doedec autoharvest.
Use an Argy to carry the Doeds. Fly up the back of the lamppost towards the light, keeping the body of the Doed at the same level of the post (he will merge with the lamppost if you do it right). He will swing and farm the lamppost. Double lampposts are the easiest because you basically get stuck in them. It’s a bit tricky, but after some practice I got pretty good at it. I dont get the same pulls that you do, Nooblets, but I get more or less 250 element dust out of each post. (Server harvest rates?).
Carry a doed with an argent. Fly up so the doed hits the top of the lamp posts, and let it auto attack them. After 3-4 (typically) you need to put it down, and put the element to the argent. Then repeat.
Hawlowe Do you know where I can find deathworms on extinction? I looked it up and people say there are some but never where. I’ve checked the spawn map and it’s not even on the list of creatures.

They got enabled with the recent Patch again, finally :) I already got 2k Element (I have x7 Harvest, dont be shocked by the Number, even without x7 you can get A LOT of Element since you get Element Shards, Dust and Element which the first both can all be made into Element)

I imagine it scales like when you use a chainsaw to get hide or organic poly from a karkinos. I'm not entirely sure on the ratios off the top of my head
you can farm the double lamp posts with the dinos, they just haven't fixed the hitbox issues. too many issues in this so might want to check it out later once they patch most of it.

On double lamps you need to have it on doedics left and curl over the curb so the tail is in the air high if done right harvest every time fyi these still new to these older vids
Argies are the best to farm elements btw we tried all dinosaur and birds and found them to not only carry more which they reduce it all by half their current weight but they can also get around map much better than land dinos
@@ka0529 I dont think u can tame every dino in the caves. Actually tried to tame on of the lvl 600 purlovias but it was not getting torpor. Oh and btw, the lower ur max level the higher the dinos in the ice cave... totally fair

DO NOT underestimate these things, I tried to take on a medium node with nothing but an argentavis because I checked the wiki and thought "I've killed rexes with this thing, worst case scenario I have to fight a spino and a couple of paracers" little did I know I would run into a level 111 spino on wave two, and get chased out by a 97 Pteranodon when I tried to run away, in hind sight I might have been a tiny litte bit unprepared, but still, I didn't know things would get so crazy so fast
I'm on a boosted server so my melee is 500+ and with an asc 500 damage pick = ele, shards, and dust or use the mantis with a good pick and you're golden..
I have never seen a single element vein on my single player. I've done few red osd and one of them gave me 600 element,and another one gave me 600 black pearls

Farm the element nodes with a Mantis holding a good pick axe... That is the best way to get element from the nodes now.

I think you can transfer dust too so it’s a way of transferring element. The dust can be converted in your inventory too I’m sure ;)

I haven't tried it, but I think an army of fliers on aggressive+follow could defend the nodes quite effectively.

You can use your hatchet also on lamp posts for electronics and stuff

If your argy and doedic have good weight the doedic will auto farm while carrying it with the argy as long as you fly it into swing range.
Just remember u can’t transfer element to another server only dust

Hit the lamp post with a dodic and you'll get electronics also. And the dodic can farm the double lamp post they just a very small hitbox

They haven't patched it yet. Currently you can tame any dino in any cave. Even rexes and yuti in forest cave

Chainsaw the enforcers you get sooo much material. Dust, scrap metal, electronics and oil! i just farm them all day, drop the scrap metal and move on.
Just thinking, if u farm Lamps and Tables with an ankylo. There might be a chance to get unstable element aswell?

Michael S boosted servers are bad it requires no real skill unless it’s a small boost
Dont use a spike ball dino, it only gives element dust, just use a pick and it gives full element
