I absolutely loved your original travel series Steve. You wore your heart on your sleeve, and that was quite endearing. As it progressed, there was definite impression of you finding your own path in life. Many people never get that chance, so it was a great watch. Unsurprisingly you had your ups and downs, and these are the events that make traveling so memorable. You're a great story teller, and I'm delighted that you've found a settled place in your life, well for now anyway! Keep doing what you do.
Thank you and thanks for saying. It's been an amazing and very different year in my life and I'm changing for the better. I wonder what the coming year will bring.....Onward and upward 🙂
I hope you don't mind me saying. I seen you changed your name from travelling Irishman to rambling Irishman. I wanted to get to your channel quickly there and searched that but your buried under every Irish man and his dog singing the song "rambling Irishman"
Hey keep the videos coming we enjoy watching them. We move to Spain end of January from Northern Ireland. We're up in La florida we'll say hello if we see you about 👍🏻

It's wonderful to have a recap of your adventures. I've watched from day 1 and hope to see more! Have a wonderful Xmas and an even more adventurous 2023 💚💚💚
Hello, there! How was the process of the dogs on each border? They ask you for dog documents of the country you are leaving? I explain my doubt: When I travel by airplane, they ask for documents of the country you are leaving. For example, my dog is Brazilian, and he has Brazilian documentation, if I travel from Serbia to Greece, they will ask for documentation of Serbia - VET- health certification of Serbia and not Brazil. Thank you for your time.
When on ferrys I had to show my dogs passports. When driving across borders from country to country I wasn't asked at all, not once. I hope this info helps
@@TheRamblingIrishman Yes, it helps a lot. Between 2018 and 2019 I traveled by airplane and bus to Eastern Europe, which was not comfortable for my dog. By plane a lot of documentation is required, besides it is more expensive. By bus, very stressful, the drivers do not know about the rules of their own company. I always asked in the office at the bus station, and they said "It's ok, you can travel with a dog", but one time I was on the bus, and the driver said, " I do not accept a dog on my bus". He wanted to put my dog in the luggage rack with the suitcases, it was summer in North Macedonia, incredibly hot, I held the bag and said no, and he got angry. After much argument, he stopped fighting because I proved to him that I had gone to his company's office and they had authorized it and my dog was up to date with the documentation. This situation is very very stressful. 😓 This time, I want to buy a car in Germany and travel with it around Eastern Europe. My dog is already 11 years old and stressing him out the way is not healthy. Thank you so much for sharing this information. ❤
Glad you enjoyed. They turned me away because my v5 tax document was torn with a piece missing. You do need a document to take the dogs into Turkey, it can be obtained at a place close to the border but I can't remember much about it. 😊
Hi, one of my dogs had chewed the corner of the vans v5. I'd got through every border from France with it but not accepted at the Turkish border. Glad your enjoying the videos 😊
Hi folks, you may have noticed that I've changed the name to Rambling Irishman. Everything for you should work as normal 😊

Great video! I’m doing a similar trip with my two dogs early next year. Why did the stop you entering Turkey? Did the dogs need special documents?
Glad you enjoyed. They turned me away because my v5 tax document was torn with a piece missing. You do need a document to take the dogs into Turkey, it can be obtained at a place close to the border but I can't remember much about it. 😊

Just wondered, why were you refused entry to turkey. Was it a problem with pet passports?..love your videos, enjoy your travels

I’m a fellow northern Irishman. I’m envious of you but I hope to do it soon. One question is it cold in the motorhome at night?
Hi 👋. Yes during the winter it gets very cold, older motorhomes aren't too well insulated. But a good sleeping bag does the trick!
@@TheRamblingIrishman thanks. I love what you’re doing. Seeing all of europe. Soon for me I hope…..soon. Good luck and happy travels.

Hi there. just one correction - neither Slovania nor Slovakia. you traveled through SLOVENIA 😂😂
Spelling never was my strong point lol
why did u get loads of sim cards? didnt u have on board wifi?
Not sure what that is but it's a long time ago, doesn't matter now 😊
Did you experience any issues with the 90 days out of 180 days rule?, or were you exempt with an EU passport ?
I'm lucky enough to have a British and Irish passport! It's a nightmare for British expats having to deal with the whole issue.
Did your irish passport let you stay in eu as long as u wanted?
Yes, it did 😊
@@TheRamblingIrishman Could you show everything you need? Eg insurance, and any other requirements for travelling europe? Thanks
i think it was Slovenia not Slovakia 😂
Lol
