Another thing to note with cage of furious star, if you have veidrock in the soul, you can pop him out with the cage and use his own skill to get another unit to fill the board even better since you get 2 units of of one order essentially. I have been using it out to pull veidrock and then zamuug out of the soul. I don't see many people use it like that, but there's another way you can use it now.
That's a great way to utilize it, the deck uses far too much counter blast, so its good not to over rely on veidrock. Certain opponents will try to cb deny you to make sure you don't have 4 attacks during your divine turn, so that's also a concern you have to address.
@@archerexiv3740 Great point, I agree that it is CB heavy, which is why I don't use zamuug's CB ability after calling him out. Honestly, it just depends on board state and the amount of CB you can use. I think veidrock is a good option for a booster or attacker regardless of using his cb or not. I just find cage of furious star to be very versatile. I mainly use it like that because I typically have at least 1 or 2 veidrock in soul which can't be called without cage, so if I don't have it when I need it then I would use cage to call it out. 4 attacks during divine skill will always be prioritized above anything, so a CB has to be dedicated to it.
@@AlexTaing-t2r Sadly rn there is no way to fully utilize the 4 attack aspect of the deck before the divine turn. We simply don't have a good attacker that can reach magic numbers before the vanguard swings. Falcracia is an option but mostly remains in the 20k range since Colossus is removed from the deck, and you have to go second for her to do anything on your first G3 turn. Any other attacker, i.e. Zamuug can be easily stopped by intercepts
@@archerexiv3740 I agree with that too, I find it a waste of a CB to do an extra attack before divine skill turn since the numbers are too dependent on bind and low in power. I wish there was a way so you could pressure opponent's slightly more with the extra attack you could do before divine skill, but we can hope they add something for the deck.
