    Ginno and Dazel, I suggest the clean and clear white sand beaches of Alubihod and Guisi in Guimaras island, which is just 20 minutes by fastcraft boat from ILOILO CITY. You can go there in the morning and go home to ILOILO CITY in the late afternoon, or choose to stay overnight in the nice developed inns. The beaches and coves in Guimaras are small and intimate, and most visitors are families on a weekend bonding or balikbayans on vacation. Guimaras has nice tourist attractions, food places, and pasalubong items.

      Awesome tip my friend! We will start researching; we have never been to Guimaras Island. We both love Guimaras mangoes! 😀

    Saved this video so I can go to these places in the future. I am a mountain / hill person myself so Bohol would be cool to go to.

    Hi guys, Sounds like the two of you are a pair of rolling stones and I love it because you never want to remain in one place long enough to allow moss to grow under your feet. The two places you mentioned are nice but have too many ex-pats for us and that is one of the reasons we may choose to escape the States. Take care our friends and we wish you and Dazel much success in your wanderings but we may have to catch you on the fly.

    These are my choices too. Except Dumaguete, too many expat and overpriced houses.

    I will visit Mindoro when I go there next. Boracay is overused anymore. Not long ago they closed the beach there coz of raw sewage emptying in the ocean. Careful there -

      They rehabbed Boracay right before the pandemic. And then 2 years of the pandemic did wonders for the beaches in Boracay. They just had an oil spill in Mindoro last week.

    Hi Gino. If you don't own transport, is it easy to get from Bacong to Dumaguete and how much does it cost?

    • @dazeltv1351
      @dazeltv1351  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There are jeepneys and buses (air-conditioned and non air-conditioned) that travel from Dumaguete City town proper to Bacong town plaza (about 10 kilometres/6 miles). We never rode the public transportation in Dumaguete because we had our car. But, jeepney should cost no more than 25 pesos or 50 cents U.S. one way. I would say it is easy to get from Bacong to Dumaguete City by public transportation.

    • @dumaguetedreaming
      @dumaguetedreaming ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Because Bacong is outside of Dumaguete the ride is closer to P50.
