Much needed video Kirtan as I am looking for investing in hybrid funds for tax efficient fixed income..As U explained these are not FD alternatives but still In your view which is better arbitrage or equity savings fund for this purpose..
Thanks a lot Kirtan. I consider you to be the gold standard of mutual fund analysts. One question from a retired investor, can we go in for 1 active and 1 index fund in each category ( Large, mid and small caps) to cover for the volatalities of the former and give more stability to the portfolio?
Great content sir and wonderfully explained.. Thank you for taking all the efforts to educate us all.. Looking forward to the next videos in this series
Thanks Kirtan, I have seen all 3 videos. Very informative. One question in the hybrid category, is there any restriction on fund managers to invest within Equity into Large, mid or Small? Because, if the fund manager invests all portion of equity into a small cap, the overall fund may become risky.
Thank you for your positive feedback. The Equity investment in hybrid is theoretically flexicap which means can be done anywhere but it is still large cap for all practical purpose
Sir as u say in the video for BAF/DAAF allocate fixed income portion of ur portfolio On that note my question is can you do Lumsum investment in BAF/DAAF like we do in debt funds or SIP needed like we do in pure equity funds? 🤔
Thank you Kirtan for this informative video but please can you also give us some good funds for each class as well and investments across this according to age and goals
As an investor, how can I choose a multi asset fund which will have 65% equity ? The fact sheet does not show the 12 month rolling fund allocation for equity for multi asset scheme.... For eg, quant MAF alloted around 60% in equity in last quarter but has 70%+ in equity this quarter... Now how will I get indexation benefit for my investment?
My son age is 25 years and wants to invest SIP for 15 years almost 1 lac per month. Suggest MF scheme considering objective is wealth creation in line with growing economy of India as country.

Thank you so much for the appreciation. For large caps I would surely suggest go for Flexi + Index. For Mid & Small I am an advocate for Active
