Joe, to answer your question; Appreciate the video a ton! It is great and just like 'Imperiused' I agree on your personal showcasing of the effectivity of those same abilities! Once more: Keep up the grand work!
Thanks for that! I believe most factions start with the spy so it was easy to get a handle on how it works. I had only used the other two for a few turns and really just learned them. Truly though the spy is a beast!
This is one of the videos I am struggling to find information on but I am finding things here and there. I hope to have one out in a couple of days but we will see how my production schedule does.
Also I'm highly certain undermine authority has no effect on general stats as this is controlled by zeal. Authority is primarily campaign zone of influence and battle aura size
You should add that all successful agent actions cause enemy armies to have reduced campaign movement (or sometimes no movement) and become unable to act as reinforcements during battles
Am I crazy in thinking that none of this applied anymore? I've been playing a lot over the past 6 months and it seems like they overhauled everything with the agents.
I'm having some problems because my enemy uses so many agents(spies and champions) that I can't even move my army or recruit another agents, because he manages to bribe all my agents and add them ho his collection....Any ideas of how to stop this?
Another great video Mr Gamer but I have a question regarding agents you didn't cover. What is meant when it says (this action) in agents effects for example - Military Fervour: +4 public order (this action). Does it mean for 1 turn or 1 attack?
I dont know why but I can't recruit any new spies in my campaign :/ Do I have to build some building or research some technology ? I won the campaign without recruiting single spy :/ I dont know what to do. (I dont have any mods)
I have a question about the champion: whenever I use him for military training I can't seem to detach him from the army, is there a way to detach him at all?
7 years and no answer :( I started playing a week ago and still wonder about it myself. I click on the agent from army view and then try to move the agent but the whole army moves.
@@rollercoaster478 Trying it now you can definitely detach the agent. It works for me just clicking on the agent card in army view. The agent's portrait shows up in the bottom left, and when clicking on the map only the agent detaches and moves. Maybe make a new campaign save and play around with it.
hey i know this is a old video but something i been wondering if you have 3 kind of champions to recruit but you dont like their traits how do you remove those champions for new once to recuit that has better traits ? (beside buying them and fire them)
We get a video on politics / families / senate and how generals link into it all? I'm finding very little information on the subject and am confused how the power systems work. (70% senate power and suddenly a civil war? jeesh I though they loved me haha)
Well I have my tactics guide for Total War and it goes into discussion bout the rock paper scissor mechanics of the game. As for specific units from specific factions, I have not made a guide like that.
On your Cultural Propaganda tip. You can't use that or Civil Unrest in places where your culture is predominant. For instance, if you play Egypt and take your Dignitary to Athenai, Cultural Propaganda won't work at all since they are 100% Hellenic

Glad I could help and there is plenty more to come!
9 year later, still here.
I think the best showcase in this video was the spy. It was nice to hear your personal testimony to the effectiveness of some of its skills.
Thanks for that! I believe most factions start with the spy so it was easy to get a handle on how it works. I had only used the other two for a few turns and really just learned them. Truly though the spy is a beast!

Very good breakdown. Thanks!
Thanks for another great video. This is a must-watch series for anybody getting started in Rome 2.
Thanks! I appreciate your kind words!
great video series lots of questions answered coming from a new fan on total war series.
Also I'm highly certain undermine authority has no effect on general stats as this is controlled by zeal. Authority is primarily campaign zone of influence and battle aura size
Still playing this game, and I'm a newbie
Click the move command on the ocean and he will be his own transport or put them into an already existing navy/army.
Wreck baggage trains also stops the target from moving, I believe. So if you want to avoid people running away from you, wreck them first.
You should add that all successful agent actions cause enemy armies to have reduced campaign movement (or sometimes no movement) and become unable to act as reinforcements during battles
Hi Chris thank you so much for your work. Great job!
Well I adjusted it in my annotations. Thanks for the heads up! Luckily it wasn't on a specific action just assassinations. Phew!
Am I crazy in thinking that none of this applied anymore? I've been playing a lot over the past 6 months and it seems like they overhauled everything with the agents.
Nice guide man. Thx
I'm having some problems because my enemy uses so many agents(spies and champions) that I can't even move my army or recruit another agents, because he manages to bribe all my agents and add them ho his collection....Any ideas of how to stop this?
Hmm honestly there is not much you can do but attempt to do what he is doing or end the war, win or call for peace on good terms for them.
Another great video Mr Gamer but I have a question regarding agents you didn't cover. What is meant when it says (this action) in agents effects for example - Military Fervour: +4 public order (this action). Does it mean for 1 turn or 1 attack?
It means per turn :)
Can you tell me how is it possible that some people get 200 food by having just 3 grain settlements and thats it
How do you get the spy to travel overseas? Mine won't get in a boat like on previous games.
Very complete and usefull video!!! Thank you!
I dont know why but I can't recruit any new spies in my campaign :/ Do I have to build some building or research some technology ? I won the campaign without recruiting single spy :/ I dont know what to do. (I dont have any mods)

Your spy thing is incorrect. The spy uses a hidden blade as one of his assassination moves.

Can any of the agents help with the spread of culture, since culture differences affect public order after they are captured
I really only use them to eliminate fog of war. Their intended use is of minimal benefit. But I don’t go too deep into it like others. Good video.
Champions are fantastic for training your armies and granting them xp
hey i know this is a old video but something i been wondering if you have 3 kind of champions to recruit but you dont like their traits how do you remove those champions for new once to recuit that has better traits ? (beside buying them and fire them)
Thanks for the video.
I appreciate the kind words but I must ask: Why do you keep calling me Joe? My name is Chris. Thanks again for your support!
Did you stop making videos?
agents and gen die every per turn its just sukcs
nice vid, really helpful, but do you just ahve to put the dictionairy in a province to get the effects? or do you have to do something else?
Some skills are passive and used by just being placed in a province and others are activated by the player. I am glad to hear I could help!
well done, good vid

You didn't talk about adventuring
Agent tends to dissapear after some turns, why is that?
They either get wounded or die of old age.
Thanks for the help I'm gonna subscribe. Do you have any guide to see what certain units are good against other units.
Well I have my tactics guide for Total War and it goes into discussion bout the rock paper scissor mechanics of the game. As for specific units from specific factions, I have not made a guide like that.
Thanks
