In July 2024, there was an unforgettable trip to picturesque Dalmatia, a region on the Croatian coast, known for its beautiful beaches and charming towns. During this trip we visited five unique places: Omiš, Primošten, Brela, Šibenik and Dugi Rat.
The first stop was Omiš, a city located at the mouth of the Cetina River. This place delights with its rich history and spectacular views. Narrow streets, medieval fortifications and beautiful beaches make Omiš the perfect place for relaxation and adventure.
Then we went to Primošten, a charming town located on a peninsula. Primošten is famous for its narrow stone streets, traditional houses and vineyards surrounding it. Its beaches, surrounded by the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic Sea, are an ideal place for swimming and sunbathing.
The next point of the trip was Brela, a town known for some of the most beautiful beaches in Croatia. The famous Punta Rata beach, surrounded by a dense pine forest, is a paradise for lovers of the sun and sea baths. Blue water and spectacular views of the islands make Brela a true jewel of Dalmatia.
In Šibenik, one of the oldest cities in the region, you could admire the impressive Cathedral of St. James, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Šibenik also delights with its beaches and numerous festivals that take place here on summer evenings.
The last stop was Dugi Rat, a small town located between Omiš and Split. Dugi Rat is an ideal place for those looking for peace and beautiful, uncrowded beaches. Its picturesque landscapes and peaceful atmosphere were the perfect ending to our Dalmatian adventure.
Each of these towns offered something unique, and the beautiful beaches that we could see in the film were the quintessence of the charm of Dalmatia. It was a trip full of unforgettable experiences and picturesque views that will remain in our memory for a long time.
