My first time skiing is a fact!
I did one afternoon skiing an It taste like more :) Who knows in the future!
The day after I did ski biking.....That will be shown in the next video! :)

Great for your first time! Downhill is fun and great exercise. You might also like cross-country (langlauf / langrenn?). More exercise, no lifts needed, a great way to get out in nature in winter! Cheers!!

Well done, TWAAP. I used to Cross Country Ski a LOT when I was younger. It is very different that downhill skiing though. I look forward to seeing the ski biking video.

For first time skiing, that was amazing.
You will have to come over to Calgary, Canada where I am and I will show you some real mountains. The snow is also the best in the world as it is dry powder snow, natural (not man made) and skiing in places like Lake Louise or Sunshine are some of the best mountains.

Skiing is a blast! Just stand on em like riding your dirt bike. It's pretty much the same position standing on the pegs and with knees bent and gripping the tank. Skiing builds leg muscle really good for the bike. You did excellent. Enjoy it!

Been skiing twice, I’ve ice skated since I was 2. Second time I was on the advanced slopes and bored. Lot of similarities between ice skating and skiing.

I have ridden motorcycles, raced sprint cars, raced motocross and high speed desert races. I have been skiing a handful of times and it terrifies me to go even 5 mph. Sliding feels so absolutely unnatural. Without rolling wheels I am lost.
I remember my first time skiing, absolute disaster and a twisted thumb, I couldn't even stand up properly, I prefer sledging!

Build those legs for cycling like never before. This was my claim to fame before i got hurt at 20 and never skied again. I said it was as close to flying as we could get without a wing.
I have spent lots of time testing cars in Sierra Nevada, during the summer. So it's nice to see what it looks like in the winter.
I have always intended to try skiing there, but always end up using up my available ski weeks in other places.
During the car testing I have also looked interestedly at the many, many, tracks which criss-cross the mountains, wishing I had my enduro bike with me.
Rich girl. You had a private instructor. When I learned many years ago, I attended a group class for one day. Good instructor, and you did really well.

That probably helped wth the great progress, it's much easier to turn with some speed. Not going fast enough is what seems to hold some learners back.

@@TwoWheelsAndAPonytail Alpine Snowboard in hardboots, I think you will like it more then skiing. Kite sail on ice skates when back in NL? For sure Kite sail on water this summer. Downhill skateboard, luge, parachute then wingsuit fly, sidecar monkey, ......
