You're right. Definitely a shadow. It was not so clear in your original iss shadow video, but in this one the deformation with the terrain and views from multiple camera makes it quite clear that it is a shadow. Good catch!

Shadows dont create a ring of light hundreds of miles around them and shadows dont stay in the same position as it gets darker.
