I genuinly think Jspark has been the best non-academic tutor Ive had. This man literally motivates us all to be not only better students but better people. Keep it up.
One time I got an A- (90-92% for American standards) in an advanced math class. My personal tip for getting that result was studying EVERYTHING in the specific chapter the test was going to be about in the math book at least 2 times over. I know this sounds very difficult but it worked for me and hopefully it will help you too. Make time for it and when you study only study that specific content with no distractions whatsoever. Also do practice tests to ensure you know you get the content well.
this is exactly me, when I get a 9 I get complacent and don't study that subject until I regret it, now I'm gonna keep studying until I get 97% in all subjects and so I'll still have 3% more to always improve for, got my maths gcse p3 tmrw wish me luck jspark pleasee, I'm gonna give it my all
Jspark cooking as always. He aint the typical study tips/guru TH-camr, he be giving us life lessons frfr. Im a grade 9 student (British A+) and recently I didnt even revise for a paper and pretty sure I made all my Asian ancestors cry. The one change was my attitude towards studies. This even happened with the gym. Thank you for telling me to raise the bars again and for this wake-up call. Keep it up ❤ Edit: Dw it wasnt an actual GCSE paper, was a test one I did way quite a while ago
The part where you discussed where the teacher doesn't set bars, the same thing happened with me in English. We had to create a recording or a website about the book we have been reading for the past month and create a topic same with the book but different approach. I had AP exam stress and on the next day this was due and didn't started anything. I booked a tutoring after my AP exam and gave him my idea and he said "Yes". I was slightly relieved but not at all confident. I gave my whole at home the next 3-4 hours and the presentation was next day for it. And what do you know, I did the best out of everyone and even my teacher said he would show my video to every teachers. This might be stressful but the results are quite rewarding. Also, you're doing a great job jspark, keep it up :D
0:39 😭😭 Jspark is like, lowkey, one of the best motivation/life lesson/ idk wtf it's called youtubers because instead of shoving words in our face and yapping, he actually gives us words that make sense and lets us take them in :3 (Idk what i'm doing anymore)
i actually finished my grade with all 10 and because of that my parents bought me a computer that i have been trying to get for more than 4 years and now at the end of the year i don't feel disappointed that i didn't do more because i did my best and reached my goal :) everybody should push themselves to do better, to not stop currently at where you are. at least that's what i think.
I've literally said this before. It's good to know others feel the same way. I used to have amazing grades because I had high expectations of myself, but my grades went down gradually because I wasn't aiming as high as I used to. When you're work so hard that you're wondering whether you got a 100 or a 95, failure becomes irrelevant.
This makes so much sense. Our maths teacher used to give us these tests after each chapter which weren’t counted for anything but she made them so difficult the highest points would be like , 14/20 or smt. But when the main exam came up, our class ended up scoring the highest with like 7 people scoring 40/40 and nobody failed ( that never happens btw) she was one of the best teachers I’ve had
This is an amazing video. It really hit me who's been lazy around in a new country. I'm a foreign student and English is my second language. I'm still lacking, but I've been doing nothing to enhance it because I reached my first goal that was passing my hard time being in an unfamiliar environment. My bar was very low to the point I don't care anymore getting a C in my every subject test and I began to ignore my homework. I really regretted at my attitude. Starting from now on, I will be putting more effort for everything and settling my bar high each time. It's not empty words, I really hope myself to be consistent. Fighting everyone!
The little drama.... acts jspark does in the middle... dude they steal the spotlight! I come here for that !!.... the teacher !!!😭🤣 this is very very helpful mate thank u !!
I intentionally makes my expectations lower than i actually can or if i did bad im gonnna have a breakdown and itll take 2days to recover 🤧🤧 but after watching this i realised it actually will motivate me!!😭✨
I love your voice so much omg, and btw you really helped me in my finals and I am the only one who won a scholarship in my class and all thanks to YOU!!!, you really helped me, THANK YOU SO SO MUCH!!!
Can you make a video on how to deal with a toxic family and focus on studying? (when they mistreat you, scold you without any reasons and always get mad at you which makes you sad and you can't afford to live separately)
You should do a video about how to find the important things to study, because in my case, in middle school, they give study guides, but when you get to high school, they don’t give them. And I don’t know how to do it.
Hey , I wanted to ask if you have read atomic habits as a lot of tips that you have given in other videos are similar to the ones given in atomic habits 😅
From what I've learned from this video is that always keep pushing yourself no matter what positions you are, and I think repetition is important as well, if you keep doing it over and over again you'll eventually master it, this also applies to what are you going to do in life
the results has came for me today and I got 76% which is also considered 'Not bad' here but the fact that I expected to get more than that based on my efforts listening to the teacher and studying at home. and the result is so average and boring it makes me feel not proud of myself even though I passed, It's because of the other students getting 80 to 90% when all they've been doing is put on their earbuds in class not listening to the teacher at all and still get a really good result somehow I feel so empty rn
hey man i have good grades all as except for Latin and science c in latin f in science and i am hoping i can set the bar higher and get each on up a grade have three big tests in science in the next week wish me luck
for me i need to get atleast above 90% to be happy like bruv, one time not to be like bad to anyone i got 72 questions for my math i got the most questions and i got 92% for that and i always got more than 90% for math tests
