I am totally loving your reactions!!! Lots of international STAYS have felt the same way that you are in discovering Stray Kids. One day we had never heard of them, the next day we were completely obsessed. SKZ are actually pretty big and have been for a few years. They had the 2nd most album sales in the US last year and the 3rd most globally. They have an OST in Deadpool and Wolverine, attended the Met gala this year, won a VMA, and just headlined lollapalooza in chicago (omg you need to react to that😂). But you won't hear much about these things from mainstream media (which, imo, seems to be cluelessly focused on Western Pop). Sometimes, it honestly seems like us STAYS (fans) do the majority of the P.R. work in ushering new people into the fandom😢. Our boys really deserve a lot more notice❤.
@HawaiianMusicReacts have you considered doing a full album reaction? That would free you up to listen to more music on your own time, and you could still react to the mvs later at your own pace. STAYS love long reactions🤣, so don't be concerned about the length. If you are interested, I recommend starting with their newest mini album, ATE, followed by Five Star and/or Rock Star❤️.
@@HawaiianMusicReacts Thank you for reacting to Stray Kids, I loved your reactions and how you loved their music and videos. Since you enjoyed these you should check these out sometime. Stray Kids has a variety of songs and videos that are truly unique and amazing and all of their songs have different genres and some of their songs have EDM vibes and they are notorious for their wordplay. Stray Kids is a 8 member self-produced & self choreographed group. All 8 members can sing, dance and rap. I’m not asking you to react to all of these, I just wanted to give some suggestions that you may consider doing throughout time by Stray Kids. I know this is a really list (I’m very sorry) but like I said, it’s to think about throughout time. So pick and choose however you feel. I’m not expecting anything but I will be looking forward to seeing your reactions. Also, if you want to know more about them, a really good guide to go with is by “TeaNoSuga”THE ULTIMATE 2023 GUIDE TO STRAY KIDS It’s 1:27:02. There’s also a THE COMPLETE 2024 GUIDE TO STRAY KIDS by “Chandora's World”It’s 2:03:36 They’re long but very detailed and helpful and worth watching. If you decide to do a reaction and if you need to do it in different parts, it’s very understandable. With all of that said, welcome to the Stray Kids Fandom! Stray Kids is not the normal Kpop group. They have their own unique style. They are also a great performance group with their own unique idea and concepts. They are so different and good in what they are doing on their own.
I LOVE the theme of this MV. The security guard was disrespecting them by DOODLING all over them in the newspaper. This angered SKZ and caused them to break the 4 th wall and arrive in their hellevator to right the wrong. CHANS sweater is covered in DOODLES. The boys morphing into each other stamps we are one. One for all, all for one. Mess with one, you mess with us all. I also love the fact that it is the music that blasts him through the wall and the floor. SKZ replied to their haters the best way they can, their music. If you notice no matter where the guard tried to escape to..... through exit doors, he couldn't get away. That is because there is NO EXIT, once you are in, you are here to STAY. At the end the new security guard is TABLO from EPIK HIGH. The crossword said Next 'X'? Next Collab is SKZ X TABLO. Recently Epik High did a collab with Seventeens HOSHI. Interestingly Tablo"s wife's favourite IDOL group is StrayKids. His daughters favourite groups are StrayKids, Seventeen and BTS. I can see a trend 😂 OR This is the journey of a new STAY. First you notice their visuals, the newspaper had our 2 most popular. Then the music hits you, like a slap to the face. As you go further beats like this one literally floors you. After entering the rabbit hole of Stray Kids, as all of the fanbase know, there is no escape. You are here to STAY. There are so many groups, soloists and bands to check out. I am aware of over 150 and i haven't touched the tip of the iceberg. ATEEZ is a great place to start. They are brothers from different mothers, the same, but different. Others you may like are Seventeen, Enhypen, IKON, Big Bang, TVXQ, BTS. Solo work, check out my favourite rapper BOBBY. Again, there are so many as most groups members have done solo work. But BANDS, OMG the bands are so good. XDINARY HEROES, DAY6, NFLYING, FTISLAND, CNBLUE, ONEWE, THE ROSE or LUCY to name a few. I can discover a new artist every day for a year and still not heard everyone.
@HawaiianMusicReacts honestly, just take in their experience at first and get to know them. They have so many layers that it's easy for new people to become quickly overwhelmed. Rest assured that the deeper content will be there for you to discover at your own pace (i.e. they have a complex lore chain involving multiverse travel and alternate timelines imbeded in their discography 😆). There is also a massive amount of content outside of their music/mvs, including reality/variety show-type SKZ Codes, behind-the-scenes, interviews, vlogs/lives, dance practice videos, performances, etc. You can (and should) even watch the Stray Kids Reality Show, which was used to debut them after Bang Chan (the leader) selected the members. Stray Kids (and kpop groups in general) share SO MUCH MORE of themselves with fans than I have ever seen in the western music industry. Links to all of these things can be found on their official TH-cam page❤️.
they mix a lot of english into their songs due to having a lot of international fans and due to 2/8 members english is their first language. They sometimes release full English versions of some songs as well as full versions of other languages due to how big of a international fan base straykids have. Hence "stray kids all around the world" or "straykids world domination"
Absolutely brilliant reaction…Especially for my favourite FELIX (deep voice ) and Chris seeing as they are fellow Australian’s…As far as I’m concerned Stray Kids are the best in the business. They are self produced and write all their own music and pretty much any genre. Their discography is massive, so I’m happy to sit back and watch you discover the magic that is Stray Kids… Thanks again for the reaction 🫶🏻
Dude Stray Kids have some of the fastest rappers on the planet. They are rapping. Changbin is literally rated up there with Eminem when it comes to speed 11.3 syllables per second. Check out Heyday, 3Ratcha, The tortoise and the hare.
Actually that stat is incorrect. Changbins fastest rap is 9.75sps with Mirror Mirror Which makes him the 2nd fastest in 4th Gen behind Nature. Han is just behind him with 9.63 with Scissor. 11.13 is his speed reading rate, which is not the same as rapping. If it was, Seungmin would be our fastest rapper as he blew Changbin out of the water.
@@phylisbrown1181thanks for correcting this, people repeat it when it’s not true. He’s amazing enough as he is, I prefer we love him for what he does and can do. He’s really such an incredible rapper
That's faster than Eminem. Changbin is the fastest rapper in the world, Han is second, I think suga is third (other SKZ members were catching him up last time they were measured). Eminem is either fourth or tied for third.
@cutebutevil7387 This is so incorrect. 11.13 is his speed reading rate, not his fastest rap. That is 9.75 with Mirror Mirror. Seungmin can out speed read him and even in South Korea the fastest rapper has hit 12.0
stay has something called 'the felix effect' where literally every newcomer falls in loves with felix's deep voice and visuals, he is a lot of newcomer's first bias
2:56 His name is Felix. You’ll also like his voice (deep voice) in the songs Victory Song and Maniac. There are others but I can’t think at the top of my head, and you saw God’s Menu already.Felix can also sing higher too, he has a wide range and he is also Australian, his first language is English
HaHaHa, you describe them like several music producers that I love. You can never really tell what kind of song you're getting when you listen to Stray Kids. They switch the beat and the flow so often, even their drops are not predictable, that it makes it that much more fun for the ear. + Every single STAY here will tell you that we went from not knowing who they are to being completely overhead in love with them after ONE SONG! They are absolutely incredible and have one of the biggest fandoms in Kpop, you chose So Freaking Good when you decided to react to them.
I did mention in comments under Chk Chk Boom. 8 member. The name of their new Album “Ate” has double meaning "ate it up" and '8 eight' because there is 8 of them. They have 3 sub units but they can all rap sing and dance 3Racha is their main rappers and producing unit, Bang Chan (Leader and Korean Australian), Changbin and Han DanceRacha is main dancers, Lee Know, Hyunjin and Felix (Deep Voice and Korean Australian) VocalRacha is the lead vocalists Seungmin and I.N They dont really use the sub units anymore because they all rap sing and dance. As you get to know them you will see the diversity 👊🏻👊🏻 Also the crossword was a easter egg for STAY ( which ended up to be the next album release 19 July) and Tablo is a rapper from Epic High 💚
you said it exactly about stray kids. You never know what they next beat drop or not will be. I love that about Stray Kids is they watch the fans, they listen to what the fans say. The leader Bang Chan (2nd guy in elevator), use to do live videos every Sunday evening when he could he would hang out with fans for 1+ hours listen to other music and talk with fans. He would also shout out other You Tube channels that have reacted to them. He would give advise on anything and flirt. He is the one guy that does everything and watches out for his members. He hand picked all them before the elimination reality show called Stray Kids. Bang Chan doesn't do the vlive anymore on a regular basis. He took a break from it because the fans used what he said once about someone or group not paying respects to elders and they fans looked at all the live performances at recent times during that time and blamed another girl group and caused negative feedback to that group. Chan never mentioned who it was because he didn't want problems but the fans took it to a new level of being rude to another group. Stray Kids likes all other groups and friends to many of them. They are very in tuned to what is going on and very genuine. Its not for the fame or money but they love what they do and being amazing entertainers and putting out good music. k-pop as a whole is not big in some places even though it is growing in popularity. I was at the doctors office and heard one on the office music. I was blown a way they it was playing and very happy about it. All that being said keep reacting to Stray Kids please and also if you like rap you will love the girl group called XG. They are a 7 member girl group being around since 2022. They are a Japanese girl group that is trained and promotes in South Korea. They speak fluent in Japanese, Korean, and English. Most of their songs are in English or a mix of English/Korean language. They rap a and sing like no other. Their music is unique and different and why I like it. I dont listen to a lot of female singers including in western entertainers. I like them and they are talented and songs I even love. but i just always play mostly male songs because it is more please pitch and tones I like. Not with XG maybe because i love their rap style and the mix they do with vocals and rap. They also have confidence and sway and look like anemia characters. LOL
2:19 Lee Yongbok (or Felix) 2:26 Christopher Chahn Bahng (or Bangchan) 2:33 Seo Changbin 2:40 Han Jisung 3:41 Kim Seungmin 3:50 Lee Min Ho (or Lee Know) 3:52 Hwang Hyunjin 5:19 Yang Jeongin (or I.N)
Fun fact: In the crossword puzzle at the end, the guy writes "Tablo" and the numbers he is filling in are 7, 19, and 24. That was actually a spoiler for their next album which dropped on July 19th of this year. 😊
Fun random fact, the security guard was in Korran tv series Squid Game and was the first to fail in the 'cookie challenge'. (Which if you've never seen, was amazing)
Thunderous, Back Door, God's Menu, Lalalala, S-class, The Sound, Case 143, Mountains, Freeze, Give Me Your TMI, Get Lit, .....so many good ones. A bit older songs that I think you might enjoy as well are Hellevator (their first MV ever), District 9 (their Debut song= first song as an official group), Easy, Side Effects... Domino is fantastic, - it doesn't have an official MV, but it has a lyrics video (you can find this for all of their songs), and a dance practise video. (The dance practise video for Domino is especially good 😊 but the audio in the dance practise videos are never fabulous, so to hear the song properly, do the lyrics video first.) They also have a bunch of more melodic songs like Lonely Street and Secret Secret... So many genres and soooooo many songs... They are way above 100 songs by now, i believe. Have fun!! 😂❤🎉
The crossword at the end said Stray Kids and Tablo. Tablo is the lead rapper from an OG Korean hip hop group called Epik High. Tablo went to Stanford and graduated in 3 years with both his bachelor’s degree and his master’s degree in creative writing. He has an IQ above 162. (Einstein’s IQ was 160) He also raps in English a lot. If you want rap that’s deep and meaningful and talks about real issues then you might want to give Epik High a try.
They are production geniuses. They do so well in balancing their songs. You've got like 200 songs to go through, lol. Make sure you do lyric videos for their ones that dont have music videos. Their B sides are where they really show their diversity. They have done 40+ genres. There is a dance practice video for MegaVerse.
Every time you say he is my favorite I am dying 😭I feel so happy you can’t guess He is the best and my favorite I really like his deep voice and I just found him a month ago ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Don’t beat yourself up for missing something. Literally need to watch a few times to get all the translation and special eggs in the videos. Keep up the great work
Felix is my bias too, I think it's the duality of him, like his voice is just so deep and demonic at times, but his face and personality is so damn pretty and sunny
You're so real for loving Felix's voice. He's who drew me into Stray Kids. He and the first rapper, Changbin, are my biases. But the other kids are always wrecking. This is one of my absolute favorite SKZ songs. I'm going down a rabbit hole watching your reactions.
I really like Hyunjin’s rap (he is main dancer and visual of the group) ! In Stray Kids, Changbin and Han usually handle the more complex parts, but Hyunjin has really improved over time, and I can see it with each comeback. He used to mostly do smooth, melodic lines, but now he’s taking on those challenging parts too. He’s so versatile, and that’s why he’s my bias❤Hope you react to some of their B-sides, like “Mountains,” “Topline,” "Complex" and “Item” Love your reaction!!
I love that about Stray Kids so much! You never know what they'll do, they're so unique and creative with their music and what's more amazing is that they 100% write everything and produce it themselves (there's also 2-3 more producers that work with them) wich makes it more impressive, they're all involved in the process of everything, and also love what they do, if you watch their live performances you'll see it!
There are 8 members. Felix is the blonde with that deep voice. More you listen the more you get hooked. You never will return from this rabbit hole. I love all there work It's 🔥.
Thank you! Stray Kids fans aka Stays are very loyal love to watch SKZ reactions and support TH-camrs who react to them and love them. This is my first time watching your videos btw. For another group besides Ateez and XG, I recommend a cousin group of XG that are debuting soon called One Or Eight. Can you react to their performance video of Kawasaki? I like the song and choreo, and they’re rapping in all English. They’re Japanese btw but the genre I’ve seen form them so far is rap and hip hop
Been really enjoying your Stray Kids reactions! They'll blow your mind with the different genres in their music. They use a lot of wordplay in their lyrics so that's something to look for too. A few song recs: Hellavator (pre-debut song), District 9 (debut), Easy, Miroh, Thunderous, Domino, Double Knot.
Felix and Bangchan are from Australia! Bangchan produces the groups music with Changbin and Han, so he incorporates English a lot in their music! Super Bowl is another popular song and it’s fully in English!
I dunno if anyone has mentioned in the comments yet, but the guy at the end is Tablo from Epik High. EH is a hip hop trio that's been around for 20+ years. Def recommend checking them out, even an older song like Fan, which is about crazy fans.
Love megaverse ❤❤❤❤ I learnt the eight members via their voices, they reinvent their looks each album comeback ❤❤❤ fans have created guides that are long and short once you are down the rabbit hole it helps you pick up on things
Loved your reaction - this was me the first time I saw the Maniac MV. Became an instant fan. Stray Kids popularity has really exploded in the last year, especially internationally. I saw them in Sydney in Feb 2023 at a 20,000 capacity arena & have just scored tickets to see them in Oct 2024 at a 45,500 capacity venue. I don't know how one gets VIP tix , because I was logged on 30 mins before both the presale & general sale & still missed out haha. Oh well, I'm still excited as they are mega hype live.
I'm sure it's been mentioned by now, but if you like the beat switches, S-Class is a good one. The MV is on a whole other level. But really, any song you think sounds good is good. They're so fun!
Getting into stray kids has been basically the best decision of my life. Although stray kids are a really big group in kpop, many people still don't know about them. That has been changing a lot recently, though. But we have a saying that you discover stray kids when you're meant to discover them, which is what has happened for me. Thank you for your reactions, and I really love how genuine and open minded you are about all of this. For recommendations, I would say topline, item, freeze, maze of memories, and muddy water. There's also a lot of really good 3racha songs, like 3racha and heyday. The raps for these songs absolutely blew me away. Stray kids does not disappoint, so thank you for giving them a chance!
as a fellow stay (stray kids fan) ATEEZ is very similar to them and every stay I have met is also an Atiny (ateez fan) i recommend listening to bouncy, crazy form, guerilla, wonderland, etc. from ateez, they have this similar stray kids vibe.
This is such a great song! The dance practice is so good! Love all the small musicality details in the choreography plus a whole army of backup dancers too! So good 🔥🔥🔥 There’s a stage practice version too, pre concert, on stage.
Stray kids are just incredible!!! They all can sing, rap, and dance it’s hard to pick out who are the main singers, rappers or dancers because they do it all!! The list really is never ending because they have so many bangers. They do not miss!! I recommend lalalala or S-Class next!! It’s so fun seeing you discover them and enjoy them ❤
Thank u sm for keep reacting to them💜 and welcome to stayville and the skz rabbit hole! As stays we love seeing new people discovering them, ( stay is the fandom name ) okey i do recommend to do next is top line or venom those two are great to do next. Also just to let you know they are self produce btw, they write, compose and produce their own music
I think you should react to a guide as it will help you with placing their names and their positions very easily. Also, i know people get scared by the sheer length of some guides, just choose one of the more recent ones. Just know that STAYS WILL watch it no matter how long the video is. Ps : really enjoyed your reaction
I'll definitely watch more Stray Kids reactions! I discovered them about 3 months ago and am still loving them! I haven't taken to any other Kpop groups. Thanks for the reaction!
Stray Kids and Mamamoo are my favorite groups, but I also really like TXT (Tomorrow X Together) and Itzy. I'm definitely in for your Stray Kids deep dive! Other than that, I like songs from many other groups like Enhypen, Red Velvet, Blackpink, BTS, Purple Kiss, Twice, New Jeans, and more. Explore everything you'd like, or stick to one or a few groups that you particularly like. This is fun either way!
Love love love it, you absolutely need to react to mountains and slash and work your way back through the rockstar album, 5 star, oddinary etc. there’s a LOT to unpack, and you know how some groups have like a few dud albums and then get better? Not skz. They have NO SKIPS. These guys having been dropping absolute bangers since 2018.
Oh and if somehow no one mentioned this, they produce their own music. There are 8 members and 3 are main producers. There was a 9th member but he left after 2 years. If you react to Victory Song, Double Knot, and other older songs, you’ll see him there.
a little guide. stray kids are divided in 3 groups depending on their strength, but MIND YOU that they can ALL sing, dance, rap AND write. 3RACHA - Han, Changbin, Bangchan. Focus on rap, songwriting, production DanceRacha - Hyunjin, Lee Know, Felix. Focus on dancing and choreography VocalRacha - Seungmin, I.N. Focus on the hardest vocals. So there’s a total of 8 incredibly talented members, and it’s difficult to recommend you songs because it is impossible to pick. they have such a variety of more hard rap, real noisy songs, softer romance songs, pure pop… they have everything. and i also really recommend their ”Dance practice” videos if you’re interested at all in the choreography!
Happy you found Stray Kids! I loved your reaction and just subscribed! I also love Korean Rap and Stray Kids have awesome songs with fast flow. I sugest you lookup lyric videos that have english translations and react to some more of their songs! Some of my favorite rap heavy tracks are: "Tortoise and the Hare" "Topline" (This one has a music video!) and "3RACHA" Hope you like them!!
Also if you get into Korean Rap from this, some of my favorite rappers are PH-1, GRAY, Tiger JK (he features in Topline with Stray Kids!) and Gwangil Jo 😊
You should check out LALALALA as well it's a newer one from the album they released the end of last year. Also some of my favorites are, Easy, Circus, Thunderous, Topline if you want to hear them sing more then Cover me is a good one and Neverending Story, there are just so many it's hard to narrow it down, also there doesn't seem to me a target audience for Stray Kids my daughter who is 20 got me into the 2 years ago and we went to their concert down in Atlanta and I was afraid Id be the only of person their but their were people of all ages it was really cool their music really appeals to a wide variety of people.
@7:50 on your video.....the new security guard that appears is - in real life - a rapper named TABLO, who is a member of an older generation K-pop / K-hip hop group called Epik High. His appearance and the scene where he wrote his name on the crossword puzzle @6:12 is an Easter egg that he and Stray Kids will do a collaboration on a future project. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- BTW, @8:13...... look at the numbers in the boxes where he writes the T, the L and the O. The numbers are 7-19-24. That was another Easter egg. The date they dropped their new album, ATE, was 7-19-24. Stray Kids like to hide a lot of hidden references and Easter eggs in their M/Vs. For instance.....whenever you see a clock, it's usually set at 3.25, which is a reference to their debut date - March 25, 2918 (aka 3-25-18). They sometimes hide the members' birthdates in calendars that might be in some scenes or posters on the wall, or signs...... In some videos, one of the members will be talking into a shoe as if it was a cell phone. That's a reference to an episode of an old Stray Kids series called Chan's Room. On that (very funny) episode, Han was talking into a shoe like it was a cell phone. Some M/Vs will have direct references to other Stray Kids M/Vs, such as a certain scene in the video for "S-Class." A mirror breaks, and standing behind the now-broken mirror are characters from other M/Vs. In the M/V for "La La La La," there's a scene with a school bus. The side of the bus says District 325. Again, the 325 is a reference to their debut date - March 25, 2918 (aka 3-25-18). The word "District" refers to their debut song, called "District 9." ^^^^^^ Those are just a few examples. Fans love to hunt through Stray Kids music videos to find the hidden Easter eggs and references.
If you're a rap fan check out the show "Show Me the Money," and FOR SURE give Epik High a listen. "Born Hater" by Epik High remains one of my favorite idol Rap songs.
Again, like on your Chk Chk Boom video......I'm showing the times each member is in the CENTER of the screen so you can learn what they look like. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3Racha (Stray Kids' writing and production unit): @2:28 - Bang Chan - leader of Stray Kids, leader of 3Racha, main songwriter, main producer, composer, arranger, vocalist, dancer, rapper on some songs @2:33 - Changbin - main songwriter, main producer, composer, main rapper, vocalist, dancer @2:42 - Han - main songwriter, main producer, composer, main rapper, vocalist, dancer ------------------------------------------------------------------------- The other members: @3:48 - Lee Know - main dancer, choreographer for some songs, vocalist, songwriter, rapper on some songs @3:52 - Hyunjin - main dancer, main rapper, songwriter, producer, vocalist (also an artist & some of his paintings have been used as art for their songs) @2:18 - Felix - main dancer, main rapper, songwriter, large vocal range when singing - bass, baritone and high falsetto @3:44 - Seungmin - main vocalist, songwriter, dancer, rapper on some songs @4:26 - I.N - main vocalist, songwriter, dancer, rapper on some songs
If you want to know more about them I suggest watching the long 2024 guide to them it will help you know the group and the individual members it is long but worth watching and stays will watch it with you. Thank you great reaction
Thank you for reacting to Stray Kids once again, there's actually a group called SEVENTEEN that you could resct to, they're one of my top favorite kpop groups and they're so talented
I recommend Heyday, the Tortoise and the Hare, and Muddy Water lyric videos. They don't have MVs but they're so unreal. Oh, and "3racha" lyric video. You won't be disappointed.
I feel like the reason u haven't heard of stray kids before is because, as u mentioned, when people think about K-pop, they usually think about Bts and blackpink. Another reason may be that whenever we tell people to listen to stray kids, and we say that its kpop they say something along the lines of " K-pop! I dont like that, don't play that trash, " as I've heard before 😒. I just hate whenever people judge a whole genre of music based on the music they've heard from 2 groups, when in reality, there are more than 100 kpop groups and they've probably only listened to 3 kpop songs in their whole life. 😓 Anyway, i really enjoyed this reaction, and I hope u listen to more straykids.❤ Some song recommendations are: mountains, topline, freeze, thunderous, district 9( debut song), and sclass
Not sure how you've missed SKZ, they've been right there at the top of the Billboard charts, waving and throwing hearts lol. BTS are K-pop. They really introduced the west to K-pop boy bands, they set the bar. SKZ swung on the bar, broke it, used the pieces for a sword fight, then did their own thing anyway.
Hello, Hawaiian, since you seem interested [& I can't help myself], want to share some of mine & Stay @suliabryon's mini intro & thoughts: - Almost all of their title tracks come in hard, lol. Their "signature sound" has become their own genre they've basically created called Mala Taste. They've been criticized a lot for not conforming to the expected or standard K-pop "sound", told their music is "too noisy". If you decide to react to a song called Thunderous, they wrote that in response to those critics. You can guess from the title how that went, lol. They are unapologetic about their sound, & they are all self-produced. Most of tracks are written by a trio -- Bang Chan (the leader), Changbin, & Han and they form 3RACHA [three-Racha] the songwriting/producer team -- They write all of their own music and are full members of the KOMCA. Point of clarity, even though I call them "rappers", just know they don't have assigned "roles" like many K-pop groups. These guys can literally do it all. Every single member can rap, sing, act and dance very well. - Some possibly helpful info, because Megaverse makes it easy to break down who everyone is with the way it starts one member at a time. In order of appearance, each member and their "usual role" in the group: = 2:183:56 Felix [deep voice - your fave so far]: He is known as the face/voice of the group. He Raps, sings beautifully, & is part of Danceracha, the dance sub-unit group. = 2:277:31 Bang Chan - Group leader, the oldest [26], the main producer/songwriter, member of 3Racha as mentioned previously. Of note here is that Felix & Chan are both Australian/Korean & speak English fluently. Chan also handpicked every single member, created the SKZ logo & ending motto. Time to break out my "Megaverse intro to the members" informational comment! It's long, but hopefully you'll find it helpful and worth the read. Welcome to Stray Kids! Almost all of their title tracks come in hardl. Their "signature sound" has become their own genre they've basically created. They've been criticized a lot for not conforming to the expected or standard k-pop "sound", told their music is "too noisy". If you decide to react to a song called Thunderous, they wrote that in response to those critics. You can guess from the title how that went, lol. They are unapologetic about their sound, and they are all self-produced. They write all of their own music. Most of it is written by a trio -- Bang Chan (the leader), Changbin (lead rapper), and Han (second main rapper) and together they form 3Racha their songwriting/producer team -- point of clarity, even though I call them "rapper", just know they don't have strictly assigned "roles" like many k-pop groups. These guys can literally do it all. Every single member can rap, sing, and dance very well. But, all of 3Racha were considered the "rap unit" when the group was formed. I noticed on your last reaction you commented that they’re known more as lyricists than dancers, and I was really surprised to hear that because even though they are amazing lyricists, who love to play with words and their meaning -- (Chan LOVES this, especially playing with Korean and English “sounds like” words and phrases to make double meanings in places) - they are also considered a very dance heavy group with often difficult choreography. Stray Kids are kind of the “known for rap, dance, and lyric play” group. Some possibly helpful info, because Megaverse makes it easy to break down who everyone is with the way it starts one member at a time. In order of appearance, each member and their "usual role" in the group: Felix (blond guy who starts): he's the deep voice guy. It's what he's known for. Raps, sings, and is part of Danceracha, the dance sub-unit of the group. Also one of the two Aussies and speaks English natively. Bang Chan - Group leader, the oldest, the main producer/songwriter, member of 3Racha as mentioned previously. Of note here is that Felix and Chan are both Australian/Korean and speak English fluently. Chan also handpicked every single member. He was a trainee for 7 years before Stray Kids was created. This is a very long time in k-pop, and it's very unusual for one of the big companies to allow a trainee to pick his own group. This was considered very experimental, and I don’t think anyone at JYP expected the group to eventually blow up as much as it has and continues to. Changbin - (first guy to come out of elevator) lead rapper, second member of 3Racha, also frequents the gym more than any of the others and is one of the best rappers working in k-pop today. He once did 16 different flows in 36 seconds for a song he was collaborating on. He did it on the first take. He is amazing. It's kind of an in joke within the fandom that if Changbin starts a song, you know it's going to hit hard and GO. Han - (second guy to come out of the elevator) third member of 3Racha. Amazing rapper, often paired with Changbin in a way where they complement and contrast one another, but also an AMAZING vocalist with the highest range in the group, and an amazing dancer. Because Han is SO outstanding at all three and at songwriting, he is often referred to as an "Ace of k-pop". Seungmin - (first vocal part of the song) Lead vocalist. Has studied extra hard for years to perfect his vocals, taking lessons outside of the training the company provides. Fun fact: he wasn't originally the group's main vocalist, though he was always a part of their vocal line. A 9th member left the group in 2019, and Seungmin had to step in to that role. It's one of the reasons he's worked so hard. He is very, very good. Also gets ridiculously excited whenever he's given a rap line, which isn't often because they like him doing vocals, lol. Lee Know - lead dancer, part of the danceracha sub unit, but has been given more and more vocal lines in recent songs, and is taking lessons with Seungmin's vocal coach. His confidence with singing has really grown and it's been great to see. Mastered JYP's core dance moves in only 2 weeks, a record I think no other trainee has broken to this day. Helps create a lot of the group’s choreo and often teaches it to the other members. Hyunjin - (longer black hair) main dancer, rapper, singer - dancing is his THING. Like, Lee Know had more experience when they began, but Hyunjin is on his own level. If you watch more videos, particularly any of the performance ones where the dancing is front and center, you'll see what I mean. He's also starting to write more of his own songs, which has been neat to follow. Often the “center” during dance breaks. The video then goes back to Felix, then Changbin raps some more, and when the vocal line comes back, that is the final and 8th member of the group: I.N - the youngest member, and second main vocalist behind Seungmin. The "maknae" or baby of the group. In Korean culture, this means all of the other members look out for him especially, trying to guide and mentor him. Like Lee Know, he's started taking lessons with Seungmin's vocal coach. He's really coming into his own. Although he's the maknae, he's actually one of the more serious and mature members, and sometimes almost seems like the older brother to some of the others, lol. Hope that helps break down who each of them is. I recommend: Thunderous, S-Class, LALALALA, Back Door, Venom, Maniac, Topline, Domino...so many others, but those are a really good start.
@@HawaiianMusicReacts It took me a long time to get them down! It doesn't help that some of them change their hair color every new album drop (called a "comeback" in k-pop vernacular). Don't worry. Stays (the Stray Kids fandom) are largely a very welcoming and respectful group, and will be very supportive and patient as you learn! After a few more songs, you might consider reacting to one of the more recent "Stray Kids Guide" videos, which break down each member with video clip examples. It really helps to learn them and solidify who is who, or it did for me!
Felix, the first guy, is the gateway to Stray Kids 😅
I have to fight myself from listening to them outside of YT😂😭
@HawaiianMusicReacts have you considered doing a full album reaction? That would free you up to listen to more music on your own time, and you could still react to the mvs later at your own pace. STAYS love long reactions🤣, so don't be concerned about the length. If you are interested, I recommend starting with their newest mini album, ATE, followed by Five Star and/or Rock Star❤️.
👍🏼

What he says 👆🏻
Right, I agree 👍 💯
I can see a trend 😂
OR
This is the journey of a new STAY.
So much easter eggs😭 I feel like because I just got into them its gonna be so hard for me to find them. Info like this is so helpful!
@@HawaiianMusicReacts Don't worry - we got you, this is what the comments section is for!
Deep voice guy is Felix ❤️ Listen to Maniac next if you want more of him
Lixie🩵🎉
they mix a lot of english into their songs due to having a lot of international fans and due to 2/8 members english is their first language. They sometimes release full English versions of some songs as well as full versions of other languages due to how big of a international fan base straykids have. Hence "stray kids all around the world" or "straykids world domination"
I had never heard of them until last December. (My niece introduced me.) I am obsessed.
They’re so captivating!
They are singing fast? 😂😂😂 nah bro THEY ARE RAPPING FAST! 😂
@@godthos97 That’s what i’m saying 🤣
You know what I meant lmao i was using it synonymously 😂
I was so confused when he said that. Lollll
@@goeienacht someone must have trolled me lol. But I was told to “not pay attention to the dancing but to listen to their lyrics” lol
@@HawaiianMusicReacts why would you not paying attention to the dance? Also stray kids known as the best rapper in kpop
I think you’re spot on suggesting Heyday, 3Racha and TT&TH. He’d love those
That's faster than Eminem. Changbin is the fastest rapper in the world, Han is second, I think suga is third (other SKZ members were catching him up last time they were measured). Eminem is either fourth or tied for third.
@cutebutevil7387 This is so incorrect.
I'm not a new stay but Felix is still my ulti bias and 3Racha , my bias wrecker Seungmiiinnn 😬
@@Ayyulinnus i dont mean he isn't a lot of old stays bias too lol, just that he is a lot of people's first bias. he attracts a lot of new ppl to skz
If you haven't, you must watch their live stage performance of MEGAVERSE. Chills, man!! Chills!!
I did mention in comments under Chk Chk Boom. 8 member. The name of their new Album “Ate” has double meaning "ate it up" and '8 eight' because there is 8 of them.
They have 3 sub units but they can all rap sing and dance
3Racha is their main rappers and producing unit, Bang Chan (Leader and Korean Australian), Changbin and Han
DanceRacha is main dancers, Lee Know, Hyunjin and Felix (Deep Voice and Korean Australian)
VocalRacha is the lead vocalists Seungmin and I.N
They dont really use the sub units anymore because they all rap sing and dance. As you get to know them you will see the diversity 👊🏻👊🏻
Also the crossword was a easter egg for STAY ( which ended up to be the next album release 19 July) and Tablo is a rapper from Epic High 💚
you said it exactly about stray kids.
LOL

Fun fact:
In the crossword puzzle at the end, the guy writes "Tablo" and the numbers he is filling in are 7, 19, and 24. That was actually a spoiler for their next album which dropped on July 19th of this year. 😊
Fun random fact, the security guard was in Korran tv series Squid Game and was the first to fail in the 'cookie challenge'. (Which if you've never seen, was amazing)
Wait till he gets to the songs from our lovely 3Racha (the production unit of StrayKids) he's a rap fan.. he will be blown away from the rap!!
(The dance practise video for Domino is especially good 😊 but the audio in the dance practise videos are never fabulous, so to hear the song properly, do the lyrics video first.)
They also have a bunch of more melodic songs like Lonely Street and Secret Secret...

Felix is my bias too, I think it's the duality of him, like his voice is just so deep and demonic at times, but his face and personality is so damn pretty and sunny
I'd love to see your reactions to Thunderous and Topline :)
You're so real for loving Felix's voice. He's who drew me into Stray Kids. He and the first rapper, Changbin, are my biases. But the other kids are always wrecking. This is one of my absolute favorite SKZ songs. I'm going down a rabbit hole watching your reactions.
Also you noting their ending "You make Stray Kids Stay." Love that you note that because these guys have gotten me through some really tough times.
Megaverse keeps being special song to me
Thanks for reacting to it!!
They have been at the top of billboard for quite some time. Just enjoy all they do.
He (Felix) comes from Australia 😂😂😂😂 I really love your reaction ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

You never know what they'll do, they're so unique and creative with their music and what's more amazing is that they 100% write everything and produce it themselves (there's also 2-3 more producers that work with them) wich makes it more impressive, they're all involved in the process of everything, and also love what they do, if you watch their live performances you'll see it!
There are 8 members. Felix is the blonde with that deep voice. More you listen the more you get hooked. You never will return from this rabbit hole. I love all there work
It's 🔥.
@@ROXELL Thank you so much! I will be sure to add One or Eight to my list!
You should watch their dance practices and see them live. They are the kings of live performances
I recommend their song “Easy”! One of my faves ever!
Love megaverse ❤❤❤❤ I learnt the eight members via their voices, they reinvent their looks each album comeback ❤❤❤ fans have created guides that are long and short once you are down the rabbit hole it helps you pick up on things
I'm so glad you've found Stray Kids
I'd love to listen to this song for the first time again TT
I also discovered Stray Kids this year (yeah, so late to the party), and now I'm soooo addicted 😁
His name is Felix. He is known for his deep voice...the deepest voice in K-pop. 🔥🔥😩👹
Cheese, Taste, Double Knot, Dominio, Phobia. There’s sooooo many lol plus the dance practices 😊
God I'm so happy to find U finding out stray kids
as a fellow stay (stray kids fan) ATEEZ is very similar to them and every stay I have met is also an Atiny (ateez fan) i recommend listening to bouncy, crazy form, guerilla, wonderland, etc. from ateez, they have this similar stray kids vibe.
i love your reaction 🤍🤍 reminded me of when i first listened to SKZ 🔥🫵🏻
Stray Kids have performed at music awards shows in the U.S. and last weekend they headlined Lolapolooza. So they are around if you know where to look.
I think you should react to a guide as it will help you with placing their names and their positions very easily. Also, i know people get scared by the sheer length of some guides, just choose one of the more recent ones. Just know that STAYS WILL watch it no matter how long the video is.
Ps : really enjoyed your reaction
I will also recommend from Stray Kids also LALALALA and Mountains . Thank you for reacting to Stray Kids ! ❤️
Welcome to the Stray Kids rabbit hole ^^
Oh and if somehow no one mentioned this, they produce their own music. There are 8 members and 3 are main producers. There was a 9th member but he left after 2 years. If you react to Victory Song, Double Knot, and other older songs, you’ll see him there.
Fun reaction, thank you! I'm on to the next
Loving your reactions too SKZ
should totally watch a live performance!
a little guide. stray kids are divided in 3 groups depending on their strength, but MIND YOU that they can ALL sing, dance, rap AND write.
3RACHA - Han, Changbin, Bangchan. Focus on rap, songwriting, production
DanceRacha - Hyunjin, Lee Know, Felix. Focus on dancing and choreography
VocalRacha - Seungmin, I.N.
Loved to see your reaction to this song! I would also highly recommend you listen to a song of their's called 'item' it's amazing :)
Happy you found Stray Kids! I loved your reaction and just subscribed! I also love Korean Rap and Stray Kids have awesome songs with fast flow.
I sugest you lookup lyric videos that have english translations and react to some more of their songs! Some of my favorite rap heavy tracks are:
"Tortoise and the Hare"
"Topline" (This one has a music video!)
and "3RACHA"
Hope you like them!!
Also if you get into Korean Rap from this, some of my favorite rappers are PH-1, GRAY, Tiger JK (he features in Topline with Stray Kids!) and Gwangil Jo 😊
we welcome you with open arms Hawaiian!! Keen to do this journey with you
You should check out LALALALA as well it's a newer one from the album they released the end of last year.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
BTW, @8:13...... look at the numbers in the boxes where he writes the T, the L and the O.
The word "District" refers to their debut song, called "District 9."
^^^^^^ Those are just a few examples. Fans love to hunt through Stray Kids music videos to find the hidden Easter eggs and references.
Oh my gosh there is so much lore i love it! I definitely need to do some research and learn more. I just dont know where to start!
Its gonna take me time to understand the easter eggs haha, as I am only just falling into this rabbit hole!
the guy singing whose voice you liked that's Jeongin or I.N he's the maknae (youngest)...i believe he was 16 when the group was formed
If you're a rap fan check out the show "Show Me the Money," and FOR SURE give Epik High a listen. "Born Hater" by Epik High remains one of my favorite idol Rap songs.
(Tablo is a member of Epik High, BTW ((What he wrote on the crossword at the end.)))
love your reaction!!
Again, like on your Chk Chk Boom video......I'm showing the times each member is in the CENTER of the screen so you can learn what they look like.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
3Racha (Stray Kids' writing and production unit):
@2:28 - Bang Chan - leader of Stray Kids, leader of 3Racha, main songwriter, main producer, composer, arranger, vocalist, dancer, rapper on some songs
@2:33 - Changbin - main songwriter, main producer, composer, main rapper, vocalist, dancer
@2:42 - Han - main songwriter, main producer, composer, main rapper, vocalist, dancer
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
The other members:
@3:48 - Lee Know - main dancer, choreographer for some songs, vocalist, songwriter, rapper on some songs
@3:52 - Hyunjin - main dancer, main rapper, songwriter, producer, vocalist (also an artist & some of his paintings have been used as art for their songs)
@2:18 - Felix - main dancer, main rapper, songwriter, large vocal range when singing - bass, baritone and high falsetto
@3:44 - Seungmin - main vocalist, songwriter, dancer, rapper on some songs
@4:26 - I.N - main vocalist, songwriter, dancer, rapper on some songs
DUDE THANK YOU
If you want to know more about them I suggest watching the long 2024 guide to them it will help you know the group and the individual members it is long but worth watching and stays will watch it with you. Thank you great reaction
The one with the deep voice that you like is Felix.
My first two songs i really loved are lalala and maniac❤ and felix is my bias
Thank you for reacting to Stray Kids once again, there's actually a group called SEVENTEEN that you could resct to, they're one of my top favorite kpop groups and they're so talented
you should react to hall of fame by them, especially the live version of the song cause they go insane when it comes to live performances
I recommend Heyday, the Tortoise and the Hare, and Muddy Water lyric videos. They don't have MVs but they're so unreal. Oh, and "3racha" lyric video. You won't be disappointed.
I suggest:
Venom
Easy
Freez
Circus
Cheese
Vecyory song
The Turtois and the hair
Double knot
Miroh
Heyday
3racha
Red light
Lalalala
Maze of memories
Recommendation:
BADVILLAIN
“Badvillain”
“Hurricane” (full version, 2:30)
“Badtitude”
“+82”
That was supposed to be two minutes thirty seconds, not a timestamp 🤦🏻
Stray Kids are amazing. They are so good. Please watch District 9 (debut song) and circus, item, Hall all fame, freeze, charmer.
Anyway, i really enjoyed this reaction, and I hope u listen to more straykids.❤
Some song recommendations are: mountains, topline, freeze, thunderous, district 9( debut song), and sclass
Yeah I totally get that. And as I am learning, kpop is more than just a genre, and instead, its like an industry
They are really on a level of their own. Recommend God’s Menu👍
Not sure how you've missed SKZ, they've been right there at the top of the Billboard charts, waving and throwing hearts lol.
BTS are K-pop. They really introduced the west to K-pop boy bands, they set the bar. SKZ swung on the bar, broke it, used the pieces for a sword fight, then did their own thing anyway.
omg stays know what's up when u asked for recs I was about to say EXQCTLY Ateez and Xg😂
They weren’t surprised at all when they said that Felix was your favorite. That's what absolutely all reactionaries say))
You really made my day il😆❤️❤️❤️
Hello, Hawaiian, since you seem interested [& I can't help myself], want to share some of mine & Stay @suliabryon's mini intro & thoughts:
- Almost all of their title tracks come in hard, lol. In order of appearance, each member and their "usual role" in the group:
= 2:18 3:56 Felix [deep voice - your fave so far]: He is known as the face/voice of the group. He Raps, sings beautifully, & is part of Danceracha, the dance sub-unit group.
= 2:27 7:31 Bang Chan - Group leader, the oldest [26], the main producer/songwriter, member of 3Racha as mentioned previously. Of note here is that Felix & Chan are both Australian/Korean & speak English fluently. Chan also handpicked every single member, created the SKZ logo & ending motto. He was a trainee with JYP for 7 years before Stray Kids was created. This is a very long time in K-pop, and it's very unusual for one of the big companies to allow a trainee to pick his own group.
= 3:19 4:11 Changbin - (first guy to come out of elevator), second member of 3Racha, also frequents the gym more than any of the others and is one of the best rappers working in K-pop today. He once did 16 different flows in 36 seconds for a song he was collaborating on [Mirror, Mirror]. He did it on the first take. He is amazing. It's kind of an in joke within the fandom that if Changbin starts a song [called a Bintro], you know it's going to hit hard and GO!!
= 3:26 5:33 Han - (second guy to come out of the elevator) third member of 3Racha. [next 4 continued in next comment reply] 🖖🏽
[next]
= 3:42 5:49 Seungmin - (first vocal part of the song) part of Vocalracha. Has studied extra hard for years to perfect his vocals, taking lessons outside of the training the company provides. Fun fact: he wasn't originally the group's main vocalist, though he was always a part of their vocal line. A 9th member left the group in 2019, & Seungmin had to step in to that role. It's one of the reasons he's worked so hard. He is very, very good.
= 3:49 5:51 Lee Know - part of the Danceracha sub unit, but has been given more and more vocal lines in recent songs, & is taking lessons with Seungmin's vocal coach. His confidence with singing has really grown & it's been great to see. Mastered JYP's core dance moves in only 2 weeks, a record I think no other trainee has broken to this day.
= 3:53 5:36 Hyunjin - (longer black hair) main dancer, rapper, singer - dancing is his THING. Like, Lee Know had more experience when they began, but Hyunjin is on his own level. He's also starting to write more of his own songs, and learning to produce from 3Racha, which has been neat to follow.
= The video then goes back to Felix, then Changbin raps some more, and when the vocal line comes back, that is the final and 8th member of the group:
= 5:19 5:45 I.N. - the youngest member, and second main vocalist behind Seungmin. The "Maknae" or baby of the group. In Korean culture, this means all of the other members look out for him especially, trying to guide and mentor him. Like Lee Know, he's started taking lessons with Seungmin's vocal coach. He's really coming into his own. Although he's the Maknae, he's actually one of the more serious and mature members, & sometimes Almost seems like the older brother to some of the others, lol.
- Hope that helps break down who each of them is. These guys are crazy talented, and the discography is huge, deep, and spans many genres, though their title tracks pretty much all stick with their Mala Taste signature sound. I recommend: Thunderous, Easy, Back Door, Venom, Maniac, Topline, Charmer, Domino...so many others, but those are a really good start. From 3RACHA song lists : recommend 3Racha, We Go, Heyday, Runner's High.. 🔥Fire lyrics word-masters.. 🖖🏽
I need to screenshot this haha so much amazing info
You’ll probably enjoy Lalalala and S-Class as well 🤩
Time to break out my "Megaverse intro to the members" informational comment!
In order of appearance, each member and their "usual role" in the group:
Felix (blond guy who starts): he's the deep voice guy.
The video then goes back to Felix, then Changbin raps some more, and when the vocal line comes back, that is the final and 8th member of the group:
I.N - the youngest member, and second main vocalist behind Seungmin.
These guys are crazy talented, and the discography is huge, deep, and spans many genres, though their title tracks pretty much all stick with their signature sound. I recommend: Thunderous, S-Class, LALALALA, Back Door, Venom, Maniac, Topline, Domino...so many others, but those are a really good start.
This was amazing. I’m super bad with names so it will take me time but I’m going to use this information as best i can!!
