Thanks for discussing the love, peace, and beauty of these persecuted people. It serves to emphasize the evil of the Catholic intentions.

This was a great interview full of good accurate and interesting information on the Cathars. I am interested in there relationship to the Nazarene's and Coptic Christians.
There is a Ley Line I have discovered that runs from Amman Jordan to a neolithic city near Stone Henge, It runs exactly through Mt. Carmel in Israel and the now submerged neolithic site Atlit Yam near Mt. Carmel which was a large stone site used to predict the movement of the Sun , Moon and Stars, much like Stone Henge. The Ley line continues North through the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun making its way through several sacred sites in France near where Cathars lived. I believe the Cathars understood ley lines and when you look at the etymology of Coptic, Gnostic and Celtic the ley line ties these traditions together. I also have been thinking about the similarity between Cathy the Latin word for China and Cathar.
Ley lines are places where Heaven and Earth touch this would in my opinion influence the area Cathars would have chosen to live. I should mention that Tesla's birth place is very near the Ley Line line as is the location of WWI Christmas soccer game between the Allies and the Germans. For those not familiar with Mt. Carmel it is the location of the School of the Prophets seven miles from Nazareth and where Jesus lived and was educated. It is my belief that advanced souls have been born and reborn on or near this ley line for many thousands of years and the Cathars knew much more about this than we have yet discovered. We are currently looking for evidence that Maria Madalena visited the area near the Bosnian Pyramids.

I'm interested to know what the Cathars really believed and how much is reverse projection of what is desirable to us now. It's really an open question, I don't know. Interested to know the deeper sources on this.

the gnostic gospel of Thomas , these people follow the same as what I read . they understood that we are all one , we have love in us we are spirits that live forever, with everything. jesus spoke like this , but the direction of his teachings where tainted by mans greed and ego. thank you for this video , I enjoyed .

@@M-i-k-a-e-l I have heard the Patrick Lenk version of this piece, its very moving, and after listening to it the first time, I had visionary flash backs of being among the Cathars, as one of them, though had never thought of any such thing, and had barely even heard of them previously🙏🏻It roused my interest in fact and I have since learned and realize more about them, and about my own previous life history🙏🏻🙏🏻💖💖

I'm reading a wonderful book at the moment that researches Cathar thought in Dante's Divine Comedy. The title is Liberta Va Cercando, written by Maria Soresina. The title comes from Virgil's explanation of Dante's presence in Purgatory to Cato, who would have understood the importance of freedom more than anyone. The book is only published in Italian so I'm translating it into English for whoever might have an interest in it. It's on TH-cam under the name He Goes In Search Of Freedom.

The meat eaters and the vegetarians the gatherers .. not one group but two different peoples ... seems the hunters have been hunting the gatherers ever since ! If your view is different, KatharAtlantean, what sources do you have that say differently? What would you add or dispute of this academic understanding? He was very clear that this was only his personal perspective, implying that there is more than one interpretation of existing sources.

I have relatives that are in the Catholic Clergy. The woman are slaves nun=none. The whole ecomomy
is based on this slave labor. They work 90 hour/weeks and have a vow of poverty. They did not want
equality of the sexes and the ablitity to commune with God without going to a male priest who did not work.
Priest live a much affluent life.

Catharism grew out of the Church of Love that Mary Magdalene brought to France after the crucifixion. Their practices are almost identical to the order of the Essenes (Nazareans) from which both Jesus and Mary came.

I love that Hymn something about it i can't place i just love it Waco was in way's the same the Gov/church decides what people will practice and if you don't agree with them they burn you at the stake or send the Army to your door steep. There's nothing new under the Sun .Same things the Cathars dealt with we are dealing with to this day i guess we don't learn from our history books know do we. Like he said there is very little record of the Cathars weather what he is saying is fact or not that's up to the viewer to decide he sound's genuine to me the Cathars always interest me always will

Yes, all over the world, but with different 'labels', in small groups, organisations. One of the most available is known as Siddha Yoga, which is an authentic path to enlightenment, based on the understandings of Advaita Vedanta (non-dualism) and Kashmir Shaivism. Yes, Eastern Mysticism, Sheila!.
It shares a remarkable number of features overlapping with those of Catharism, self-enquiry, reflection and contemplation, meditation, healing, chanting. In Siddha Yoga, the practices of Shaktipat Diksha and the Consolamentum, also Darshan and the Melioramentum, seem to be absolute equivalents. So is the aim,- in the one it was to become 'perfected', a bonhomme- a good man or woman. In the other it is to become established in the full awareness of the (Higher) Self. The intended outcome? The same, enlightenment or Siddhahood, with all that implies for oneself and all humanity.
Have a good browse around www.siddhayoga.org; it could change your life, - it certainly changed mine, and is still.
