DWTS, please create a Redemption Season where all the best dancers from past seasons who could have/should have won the mirror ball get another shot at the title.
Let me rant for a bit... #1. ABC owes Milo, Alexis and Evanna and apology for wasting their time for the past 8 weeks. #2. Next season lets just take the popular vote for week 1 and hang out the mirror ball and call it a season. #3. Juan Pablo, Tinashe, Evanna, Milo, Alexis were all robbed. #4. Person ranked in 8th place WON. #5. Im officially done watching next season. but will still be caught up with results online.
Great post. I blame ABC more than Bobby. But i expect it will be more difficult for ABC to find "Stars" that will want to spend so much time and effort, only to have one of the least talented dancers win. They all put in effort (not just Bobby that his fans are saying). This show is now such a joke. Ratings WILL drop as a result of this season's results.

He even said that before announcing the winners. I think people are finally realizing how much the public vote actually matters in shows like this. plus i don't think most people realized how big a fan base bobby has. The only other person in the final who i knew who they were was Evanna.

The show is based on how they get better as dancers if there good as they start out they actually have less of a chance of winning and just remember people voted for him because he had heart I'm not saying that the others didn't but Bobby had no experience and became a good dancer

SimmonsGranger no offense to the others but Bobby was the only one who had never had any dance experience and he practiced more than all of them. He put in the work and was a delight to watch each week, regardless of his dance ability. The show is bigger than just "dance".

this show has gotten so damn lazy.. not even having the final two when announcing the winner .. lmao. no tuesday night finale with a last dance (thats not the freestyle) in my opinion season 19 had the best layout throughout the whole season with switch up week, trio week that involved two pros, the dance off, and the two part finale with the fusion dance and the goodbye messages to pros and everything. use to be a huge fan of this show & now it's just pathetic to watch honestly

Well, this show is a joke. I’m glad Sharna finally won but I wish she would have won with James a few seasons back. Bobby seems sweet and it’s not to say he didn’t work hard, but the other teams worked just as hard and made more improvement and achieved better scores. Wow, this season was a waste.
I have to admit, I enjoyed Bobby better than James. James was better at dancing (but Laurie deserved that season), but Bobby was more fun for me to watch. Just my personal opinion
I wanted Sharna to win with Charlie. But I knew it would be Meryl and Maks that year because almost everyone fell for their fake romance. Hate it when they use stuff like that to try and win votes. But anyway, Bobby definitely did not deserve this win. I honestly thought he was going to step down and give it to the couple in "2nd" place. Disappointing to say the least.
Sharna Burgess is my queen. I feel ROBBED. You know why? Because when she won I wanted me to be sooo happy for her, I wanted her to have the most epic season and I wanted to celebrate her at the grove. She has given this show some of the best dancing , and performances they’ve seen!!! And she’s had the likes of James Hinchcliffe, Antonio Brown, Nick Carter. And CHARLIE WHITE. All great dancers who’ve given her Emmy nominated routines and she wins with BOBBY???? What the flying HELL??? I used to think that this would be the greatest season ever, but this has been the worst season of DWTS history. First, Tinashe was eliminated early when she should have stayed. Joe is not a great dancer, yet he stayed till the almost end? Even after Tinashe? Alexis and Alan were often in jeopardy, even though they usually get the highest scores. Juan Pablo was amazing yet he got eliminated before the finals? Plus, Milo and Whitney were absolutely great this whole season, perfect scores in the finals yet Bobby happened to beat them? Bobby is a great person, but he definitely shouldn't have won the mirrorball. I am really upset with this :(
I feel the same. When the season started, I thought it would be so great. So many awesome contestants. And then strange things started to happen, what you said. I feel very conflicted about this win. I'm ECSTATIC for Sharna since she's deserved a mirrorball for a long time now, however out of all the times she should've won, I really don't feel that this was the time. Sure Bobby had no dance experience versus the others, however he had NO improvement for the WHOLE season! He was mainly scoring 7's every episode! Imo Evanna should've won.. she had the BEST improvement throughout the season w very little dance background and her freestyle was my personal favorite. But I would've been equally happy if Milo won since he also knocked it out of the park. But Bobby Bones? Seriously guys? Am disappointed to say the least.

I love this show, I really do; and the reason I love it is because I love to see non dancers improve each week and get perfect 30's and the winner is someone who, by the end, can actually dance. Bobby Bones never really improved, the only 30 he ever received was on his freestyle, his other dance was a 24; which I think the judges were being way too kind give him a 30. There needs to be something in place to stop this from happening, like when Juan Pablo got kicked off, that shouldn't have happened. I think there needs to be a judge's save, or the lowest scores go home when it's the semi-finals/finals. The best dancer should win.
I know this is 4 years later but this should tell you how big his fan base were. I remember Tom mentioning Bobby would have still won even if he didn’t do the freestyle. I'm happy for Sharna but that's about where my happiness ends. The judges scores need to have more influence across the season, this isn't just a case of "the best dancer didn't win" but the WORST of the final four won. Out of all couples this season Bobby averaged the 8TH highest average, meaning he wasn't even in the top four, let alone the top one. I get that it comes down to the fans, but really what is even the point of having judges who score the routines if someone that low across the season gets to win it all.

I watched Bobby last season on American Idol giving advices to the contestants and I have loved him since, he is incredibly kind and it was fun to watch him dance BUT for no reason whatsoever I would have voted for him to win! Zendaya was pretty great, but truthfully I liked kellie pickler better that season. She was def the most improved, zendaya had past experience, and kellie’s last couple of dances just absolutely blew me away. She did an Argentine tango in silhouette!

this show has gotten so damn lazy.. not even having the final two when announcing the winner .. lmao. no tuesday night finale with a last dance (thats not the freestyle) in my opinion season 19 had the best layout throughout the whole season with switch up week, trio week that involved two pros, the dance off, and the two part finale with the fusion dance and the goodbye messages to pros and everything. use to be a huge fan of this show & now it's just pathetic to watch honestly

Well, this show is a joke. I’m glad Sharna finally won but I wish she would have won with James a few seasons back. Bobby seems sweet and it’s not to say he didn’t work hard, but the other teams worked just as hard and made more improvement and achieved better scores. Wow, this season was a waste.

I wanted Sharna to win with Charlie. But I knew it would be Meryl and Maks that year because almost everyone fell for their fake romance. Hate it when they use stuff like that to try and win votes. But anyway, Bobby definitely did not deserve this win. I honestly thought he was going to step down and give it to the couple in "2nd" place. Disappointing to say the least.
Bobby worked very hard this season, he just lacked that natural talent a lot of other competitors had.

I used to think that this would be the greatest season ever, but this has been the worst season of DWTS history.
First, Tinashe was eliminated early when she should have stayed.
Joe is not a great dancer, yet he stayed till the almost end? Even after Tinashe?
Alexis and Alan were often in jeopardy, even though they usually get the highest scores.
Juan Pablo was amazing yet he got eliminated before the finals?
Plus, Milo and Whitney were absolutely great this whole season, perfect scores in the finals yet Bobby happened to beat them?
Bobby is a great person, but he definitely shouldn't have won the mirrorball. I am really upset with this :(

I feel very conflicted about this win. I'm ECSTATIC for Sharna since she's deserved a mirrorball for a long time now, however out of all the times she should've won, I really don't feel that this was the time. Sure Bobby had no dance experience versus the others, however he had NO improvement for the WHOLE season! He was mainly scoring 7's every episode! Imo Evanna should've won.. she had the BEST improvement throughout the season w very little dance background and her freestyle was my personal favorite. But I would've been equally happy if Milo won since he also knocked it out of the park. But Bobby Bones? Seriously guys? Am disappointed to say the least.

I love this show, I really do; and the reason I love it is because I love to see non dancers improve each week and get perfect 30's and the winner is someone who, by the end, can actually dance. Bobby Bones never really improved, the only 30 he ever received was on his freestyle, his other dance was a 24; which I think the judges were being way too kind give him a 30. There needs to be something in place to stop this from happening, like when Juan Pablo got kicked off, that shouldn't have happened. I think there needs to be a judge's save, or the lowest scores go home when it's the semi-finals/finals. The best dancer should win.

I'm happy for Sharna but that's about where my happiness ends. The judges scores need to have more influence across the season, this isn't just a case of "the best dancer didn't win" but the WORST of the final four won. Out of all couples this season Bobby averaged the 8TH highest average, meaning he wasn't even in the top four, let alone the top one. I get that it comes down to the fans, but really what is even the point of having judges who score the routines if someone that low across the season gets to win it all.

I blame the judges handing out 8s (and 10s for that messy garbage freestyle) because of effort and trying, rather than giving deserves 6s for not being good.
True. The judges definitely had a hand in Bobby winning. Every time they overscored him, that kept him in the competition longer. If he would have gotten the scores he truly deserved, he would not have won.
I'd like to see the judges return to their Season 1 strictness.

+Elizabeth H It's true. If Bobby would have gotten the 5's that he deserves. Through the season, including the finale, he wouldn't have won. It was rigged from the beginning for him to win. The producers knew before the season started that they weren't coming back in the Spring, so they wanted to go out like some punks and that's what they did.
