Sunny swears alot too, but she only does it to Tiffany and other SNSD members because they are close enough that they wont feel offended. Tiffany and Sunny playfully take shots at each other all the time discreetly. As someone said, Tiffany had a rough time. She went to Korea alone without support from her Father who stayed in the USA and didnt approve of her going to Korea, and her Mother passed away. She took a huge life risk, and had to manage and live by herself. This is why she came to rely on the other girls and their parents like family. Because they were her family. Her family resurfaced in '16-'18, where Korean Media reported about Tiffany's Fathers' fraud debt problem. She admitted she, her sister, and brother are estranged from their Father, but she still gave him money to clear up his debts through the years, he took advantage of her new fame. Coupled with how Tiffany got cancelled from Sister's Slam Dunk show because of an SC faux pas, it was a terrible time for her after she debuted solo. Hyoyeon said that Tiffany should write a Book about her life. Its amazing how Tiffany continued to be loving, open, and cheerful despite her personal life struggles, and the hatred, insecurities, and constant injuries, she faced while in SNSD.
Hyoyeon is part of the Dork duo with her "Choding Sister" Yoona, who are the tag team pranksters of the Group. She also said she got more emotional as they got older, and now she is more sentimental about the Group and cries more often the before. TBH, I think its partly due to that Hyoyeon now says she reads Hate Comments online when she didnt when she was younger, so she became more defensive from Haters who are always ready to trash her or her dear group members without consideration, based on rumors.
One thing you should know is no one in SNSD is serious lmao they all clown but when they do their work or when they're in stage they become the MOST serious person you ever see, most of them is so perfectionist and very detail, you will see the different if you ever watch their recording the song or when they learn the choreography. This been fun, can't wait for last part, thank you.
These are facts...great comment!. I learned that from my first exposure to SNSD... or rather, Tiffany specifically, when by chance I clicked on a TH-cam 'suggestion' to watch Sister's Slam Dunk Series 1 (in 2019!) , and saw when the cast was having dinner with JYP and Tiff brought out her notebook. Since then I've watched 'everything SNSD' that I could, and the 'BTS' evidence of their preparation and self-critical analysis is plain to see and utterly consistent. Their ability to have fun while actually working their butts off, is part of their magic...and they take all that to another level in their live concerts. Being a 9-member girl group would have been just a 'gimmick' if it weren't for their chemistry ( which was maintained and maybe even strengthened when they became 8).
@@simonwaugh5519 Yes Tiffany and Taeyeon specifically is very very perfectionist, and if you watch Soshi Tam Tam you also can see how Yuri can be very focus when she need to be. Taeyeon said that their charm is their diversity, and its true, they all so different in personality yet when together they work in harmony and its rare to see to group that have lot members, even so sometimes they still need lot lot discussion and talk if decide something lmao
hyoyeon has always had a really strong image and she’s very blunt and honest without even realising & will call you on your bs. But people around them and the members have always said she’s the most free spirited but also most pure of hearted next to the maknae
I very love Hyoyeon unni ☺️ She is beautiful, talented and funny, always humble and brings positive energy to those around her. I also have a very warm heart💕🤍💕🤍💕🤍
Tiffany grew up in the US so she is just as American as she is Korean. So yes there are certain things that she will try to remain as Korean as she can... but as she mature, debut her own solo, and gain success on her own making, she gained her voice as a strong woman as well. So she will dance, and be loud, and swear whenever it suits the situation. Tiffany currently is in such a great state of being comfortable in her own skin, warm your heart to see her happy being herself.
Also, just a reminder; the "into the new world" ballad version from Tokyo Dome is the best one :)
I'm glad that you had a good laugh 🤣and there are a lot of funny SNSD guide here on YT, but this is the BEST/balanced guide to introduce SNSD.
5:40 Tiffany's "___ put it back on" from their Tell Me Your Wish/Genie song was so iconic, some fans created a compilation of it. Don't worry, Tiffany doesn't swear a lot on TV during her early days because SM wanted her to maintain a good image.
18:43 That's just the way they tease each other. If you'll watch a show called Intimate Note where SNSD was the guest then you might get shock😱 with the way SNSD interact with one another. Btw, she's talking to Sooyoung (a.k.a Savage Queen of SNSD so if you get to her part, you might want to lower the volume of your headset a little ).

If you'll add Sooyoung on this reaction, then you'' have the unofficial SM sub-unit called S.H.Y (Sooyoung, Hyoyeon and Yuri) known for their dancing skill and a comedy trio. The comedy samples provided on this guide is not even at 25% of their chaotic personality. Variety shows loved to invite SNSD because they always make it more interesting.

Hi JC! Your comment is really well-written...I mean it has a great 'flow' along with lots of relevant information. Clever observation about ShunTuma unknowingly missing the 'SHY' connection by stopping when he did.
SHY is IMHO the Greatest Unofficial Sub-Unit in K-Pop, and a perfect example of SNSD's particular ethos of never taking themselves or the demands of their industry too seriously (yet still being super-professional when it matters) and sharing their sincere joy of performance with their fans.

Individually they are all funny and entertaining, but together they are completely 'bonkers'... their group dynamic is as much a part of their "Legendary" status as their vocals, commercial success and portfolio of artistic awards.

Tiffany did not cuss in public for fourteen years, Korean idol. She went back to US to do her own music, explore different genres. That is when she started cutting loose with the cuss words! lol. Also, in US she could support LgBTQ publicly. Please cover her solo music especially Lips on Lips mv and album. Masterpiece, song Runaway with Babyface and song Not Barbie. She is good friend with Jessi! Great on Showterview.

Tiffany is such a big ball of positive energy that her swearing is kind of charming, there's never a mean note behind it. And there's no mistake in where Taeyeon got her swearing lessons from. She sounds very "Tiffany" when she speaks English in general.
The ITNW Ballad version people are requesting is a live from Tokyo Dome. It was highly emotional as it happened few weeks after Jessica's departure from the group. The short bit in this video is a different performance, so you weren't really spoiled. The song itself is nice but it was never the point of those requests
I have to agree with your comment about Tiffany ( and Taeyeon's adept English swearing! ) IMHO I think ShunTama should wait a while and explore SNSD further before getting to the Tokyo Dome ITNW ballad performance....he'll appreciate it more for having the context that a solid knowledge of SNSD provides. Do you agree?
@@simonwaugh5519 yes, I definitely wouldn’t rush into it. It’s puzzling why fans push that one onto people who don’t care and in most cases have no clue what’s going in. Seeing strangers cry for no reason is uncomfortable
Tiffany is honestly one of the sweetest, motivated and positive person ever. It's not mentioned here but Tiffany had one of the toughest backstory to her life. Her mom died before she came to Korea, she came to Korea alone at the age of 16 to pursue her dream inspite of her father telling her no. It turns out her dad kept getting into trouble with plenty of debt, she was the one that had to pay back all of her father's debt and now afaik she cut him off her life. Fortunately her sister is really supportive and she has great aunts and uncles.
Hyoyeon - One of the best female main dancer of K-pop. I believe she's the only SNSD member that has been training dance together with the boy group. Been a professional dancer even before debut.
Yuri - A successful actress and the sexiest member of SNSD during her prime. First idol to have been taken a solo fan cam.
SHY (Sooyoung, Hyoyeon and Yuri)these three members are also the most chaos in snsd.
