The kiddos are so cute and the boys are getting SO big! I can totally tell them apart, but I never am confident I have the right name for the right babe, lol. I'm hoping by the time they are one yo I have it figured out, haha. As for taxes and ideas for making it easier, I will tell you what I tell my daughter (who is horrible at organization btw) and that is to start small. Now, I am in Canada, so I don't know how our taxes differ but I usually try to take a few minutes to organize my receipts into separate categories (or files) as I get them. I don't have a work income anymore since I am now disabled from a spine/spinal cord injury. I would say that is the most time consuming, tax-related, organizing I have to do. The expenses I keep track of due to my disability are things like meds, equipment (wheelchair, walker, etc.), lawn care, cleaning lady (monthly), snow removal, etc. They are not all deductible every year, but sometimes my tax guy can find ways to incorporate them, so I do keep them organized. Perhaps if you can find time to go one step further, say monthly, and divide them up into personal and business expense files then when it does come around at least that part is done. What I mean is each month (or whenever you have a small pile) maybe sit down and divide your receipts and enter that month's worth into your spreadsheet. That way it won't be an entire year's worth of receipts to tackle come tax time. It's easier said than done, I realize, with three littles but even a few minutes a couple times a month could help you. I'm a CPA, Id suggest you get a bookeeper or CPA firm to create some financials for you monthly or quarterly and do estimates for you quarterly if you're not already. If you have that and someone to file your taxes, at the end of the year all you should have to do is hand over any of the tax forms that get mailed to you, personal deduction receipts (property tax, charitable contributions etc,) and sign! No need for you personally to be spending so much time on filing your taxes at the end of the year!
Rachelle , there have been multiple posts made on social media about those yogurt melts! One woman had to take her son to the hospital from choking and the Dr. actually said he sees babies quite often choking on those because they don’t actually melt they just turn to slime, and that he doesn’t recommend them. OF COURSE, do whatever you feel is best for your babies I know you do what’s best for them! You’re the parent! I just felt like I had to mention it. Love your whole family .
American taxes are crazy to me being in England... Why don't they just tell you what you owe? Or take it as you earn it? I could not deal with having to calculate my taxes every year! You got this!!
For the most part they do if you’re working a normal salary or hourly job it’s just the self employed people like youtubers that are this complicated. I did my taxes in 30 minutes yesterday
re taxes: what do you have to calculate? where i am we can claim expenses and this n that at tax time, but otherwise everything else is already done and i think last time it took me less than 10mins to submit

I use a top quality glass screen protector on my iPhone and they have saved my phone screen on more than one occasion. The glass screen protector shatters when dropped and I’m always amazed that when peeled off the screen underneath is perfect. Won’t be long and the boys will be running after Emma, they’re so adorable. I always asked for 1 hour of totally uninterrupted nap time for special occasions, when my kids were little 🌸🐨🌸

We later adopted an eleven yr old. But, when I was 35 we had a very unexpected miracle and had a baby girl. Our girls are 20 yrs apart and we are blessed and we are all excited to meet all the babies in heaven!'!!

Used to love putting together baskets for my 4 girls for V-Day, Easter, July 4 etc. When they were a bit older we would talk about why we celebrated the day, and then ON the day they wouldn't get their surprise until they could whisper to me why we celebrated that holiday. Market farmer here-do you know how terrible “weed spray” is for the environment. It’s polluting our food and our soil.I’d love to see you guys consider some ground cover alternatives to just spraying and polluting the environment year after year.
My only tax advice is to join the receipt organization and excel expense report into your monthly budget day with your bills and what not. My friends are personal chefs 100% 1099 so they actually started filing quarterly because they got into some trouble owing a lot of money.
Hi Rachelle, you know how you scan each receipt in your car after you leave the store....how about having spreadsheets you can access on your telephone for personal, business, etc and type in what you spent, on what and when. It would be an awesome app for someone to create where you could scan what you purchase under the heading of personal, business spreadsheets or whatever...then you could just email to your accountant when you need to.

We have our accountant do everything. We have two businesses and my husband used to work at a job. Our accountant has access to everything our credit cards and bank accounts. We don’t need to save receipts or anything bc it’s all posted there unless we pay cash for something which we never do bc that just creates stress. It’s totally worth every penny and not as expensive as I thought it would be. I would have your accountant organize everything as well so you don’t need to waste your time doing that.
You should add receipts/bills/mileage etc to the excel sheets monthly or quarterly so at the end of the year you have the last month or last quarter to put the spread sheet together. Not sure if you pay taxes quarterly or wait til the end of the year and hope and pray you don’t owe or only owe a small amount🤣 but if you pay quarterly..that’s a good time to get it done. Set aside an hour 4 times a year to get it on the spread sheets. Waiting til tax season isn’t good. You have deadlines and it adds so much stress.
Do spread sheets to separate everything on a monthly basis. all your monthly totals can then be added into a yearly spread sheet at the end of each month... at the end of the year most the work is already done. You should be able to have a spreadsheet file on your computer set aside each month &yr
I agree doing taxes is very overwhelming! I absolutely loathe it! And think about buying an Otter Box waterproof snap together phone case for your next phone. I have one for my phone and I’ve dropped it multiple times and not one thing wrong with phone.

oh I totally get it.. I have done our taxes for both our a/c business and our personal. I break it down quarterly for the business because I have state federal taxes due quarterly for the business as we have ten employees .. having things done make the annual stuff easier..I remember how hard it was when the kids were at younger .. we also have a farm with animals that require daily care two times a day no matter what. It is easier now..
Why don't you give it to a tax person to do it all for you. They can separate ECT. Won't they do that by over their. In Australia I just give them a big box of everything and they do the rest lol

You sound like a dream tax client. I worked for a firm for years and we had clients that would literally bring us boxes of papers we had to go through. It ended up costing them so much since we had to go through everything and figure out what was what
