@@ClawGamingCG BMT was surprisingly easy. The first week I was a bit overwhelmed was second guessing my choice of joining as they didn't treat us like humans just kept yelling nonsense at us but I completed it with no 341's pulled and no washback/recycle so overall my experience was fine. I am at sheppard right now. Tactical Aircraft Maintenance on F-16's is my AFSC enjoying life out here at Sheppard gonna start classes next week
damn, thats what i like to hear man. Glad you were able to overcome the first week fears and keep pushing. It was all just scare tactics with them yelling but once youre past that barrier its smooth sailing. You should be getting your assignments soon feel free to dm me privately to let me know where youre headed.
room looks sick. Im planning on purchasing a gaming laptop to keep me sane once i finish BMT. You think i will have time to play or is Technical school crazy busy.
thinking and looking into 1b4 and enlisting in november gonna talk to a recruiter next week currently in school for cyber but i think ill take a one to two term break while in bmt and tech school. gonna enlist with comptia trifecta a+ network and security. how do you like the AF so far?
ive been enjoying it, theres definitely alot of oppurtunities for volunteer and self improvememt/development. My whole family is Airforce so ive had a nice set of guidelines to follow through with. Have you taken the ASVAB to see what jobs you qualify for? I have my associates degree in computer info systems with alot of certs. Definitely helped me in Tech school.
@@ClawGamingCG Thats good to hear. Im Definitely considering joining. and not yet, im gonna study for the asvab soon. I already have my bachelors in information systems.
Nice, i would say enlist then build up your portfolio while enlisted then you can comission to become an officer. if you decide to be an officer right away the current wait list is 8-12 months or longer to be selected. With going the enlisted route, youll already have the fundementals of the airforce then once you comission you already have the idea of ehats expected etc
sheppard is like college, nothing like basic. after class its all your own time, weekends are your time unless you volunteered for stuff. you go to class after class its all your time. it is self paced and relaxed to do whatever you want. BMT just breaks you down to rebuild you. If you and your flight can get a rythm going those months will go by quick
yes you can, for us the restriction was a 32 inch TV, dont buy a new TV there are alot of people selling them in your dorm because they are either leaving or graduating, ask in the discord or the techschool for sale page.
