    I sometimes make a list of the things I've done, then cross them off - gives me a huge sense of achievement!!

      Yes, I write down the tiniest things like 'combed my hair' to make it seem more.

      I make strips of paper and write a single item at the top. Then when that item is done, I am done with that entire list.

      I do the same … if it’s not on my ‘to do’ list & I do it … I write it down so I can cross it off … 🤷🏼‍♀️

      Yep. It was so good to find out other people do this. One of the big benefits of the internet is finding out that if I'm weird I at least have a tribe

    When I walk into the house with an Amazon package and my wife says “what have you bought now?” And it’s something that she ordered.😅😅😅😅😅

      Packages show up here and I ask my wife what she bought and she always says “I don’t remember.” Then we get to both be surprised when she opens it.

    5:25 or so ~ don't ever make a joke to a psychologist. Not in a professional setting, not in a social, and sure as hell not in a sexual encounter. It's not that they don't understand humour, it's more that they misunderstand the purpose and intent of it.
    A joke to a psychologist is roughly like a "Kick me" sign taped to your back, which they saw you apply to yourself.
    "Do you really mean that? Well, OK, if you insist."

    Society favors extraverts so much! From childhood, that personality type is considered desirable and 'normal.' But the quiet ones alone at home can have wonderful ideas that people yap-yapping together won't have. Maybe the reason extraverts are always seen as 'better adjusted' is that back in the day the tribe needed all those team players to hunt mastodons?

      I don't think that's the subjunctive. I think it's dialect, perhaps AAVE, or perhaps just meme-speak.

    • @sarahwong5592
      @sarahwong5592 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Where I live, summer is absolutely the worst season --- and cooling in the summer is WAY more expensive than winter heating, even when you are just setting the thermostat to a modest 80° --- when you turn it on at all. It is currently 86° inside my house, according to the thermo that is NOT located in the hottest room in the house. We won't be turning AC back on until bed time, because it helps my kids actually go the eff to sleep. ....and even with that minimal, modest use of AC, in June when summer is just starting to ramp up, it will still be more than what we pay for heating in January, when it gets actually, legitimately cold for one week, and then goes back to being Texas.
