one of the worst hosts ive ever seen...making fun of one of the greatest minds EVER to have lived combined with stupid childish humour is terrible terrible TV... What a waste of time....
It would not have been good, I think. NBC has always been really strict on the content and Craig is this good because he is free to do whatever he wants here but it would not be same with NBC.
craig knew what we wanted, to be entertained, to see the actors be people, and not promotional faces, we never REALLY cared about there personal lives, just talk. make jokes. be entertaining. craig nailed it every night. i remember thinking he was off sometimes but even those nights he'd still get a really big laugh somehow. i love this.
Letterman, Conan, and Ferguson have been the only worthwhile hosts in my lifetime. Letterman was a comedy god in the 80s. There's really no way to describe how influential he was on an entire generation of young people in his prime. His anti-showbiz attitude and cynical sarcasm were a breath of fresh air in an era where Reagan-era conservatism and the fakery of old-school show business still predominated. Letterman called bullshit on all that bullshit, and we loved him and revered him for it. Conan's brand of goofy surrealism was a worthy successor to the Letterman brand. Then Ferguson's loose informality and astonishingly quick wit channeled the best of Letterman's snark with Conan's goofiness and willingness to be the punchline into the last great talk show host. There will never again be a host as brilliant as Craig Ferguson on commercial television.
I didn't bother watching this when it was on originally because I hadn't started watching Big Bang Theory yet. Craig was born to deconstruct the interviewing process and I love that he did a BBT themed episode. Thanks for putting this up!
I personally lived with The Big Bang Theory series, I laughed, I learned, I was impressed, and this series examines the value of science. We do not need to be a scientist, we can still use science and apply it in our lives.
At the time this aired I was a fan of both shows and this is the 1st time I'm seeing this crossover. I'm kinda angry that no-one told me there was a crossover where Craig auditioned to be Sheldon's friend ...
Thanks for the video. Just watching it. Because of the Sheldon character, I was surprised at Jim’s lovely, honest laugh. I had never heard him laugh before. It was so refreshing especially compared to the phony laughs of some of today’s late night talk shows.
I used to struggle to stay awake long enough to watch Craig and it was always so worth it!! ❤❤❤❤ And ironically came to watch TBBT very late in the series run (for some reason thought it wouldn't be that funny), but thanks to the miracle of cable TV we watch episodes back to back all the time now!!
The real tragedy is even with all the continuous praise the networks still haven’t brought him back - how stupid can they be 🤤 apparently - top of the heap 😵❗️
Yeah he doesn't want to. He has stated in several interviews that he only missed it the moment he heard Trump was running for president. But other than that he doesn't miss it at all.
I sometimes get the feeling that Craig knew the woke apocalypse was on the horizon and approaching at breakneck speed.....credit to him for being wise enough to get out while still at the top of his game....miss the sheer genius of the man.!
Woke? Alcoholic Jr hates woke. Brains scare him. Drunk not woke. Drunk beast. Beast hate woke. Drunk have club. Fucking alcoholic Dubya. Lowered the bar for being human. Ceasar wanted it. So did Don. Stormy Bush did him. Woke. You wish.
It's interesting the chemistry between these two. So much going on, neither of them seems to know what to do with it, or, at least Jim Parsons doesn't.
I've been watching these montages for the past few weeks and they are Great! But... This is the first one with the intro and song and I've forgotten how great it was.
27:20 - "Alliance Code of Conduct 1138" is a reference to George Lucas. He used that number in many of his cinematic works. His first movie released in 1971 was called _THX 1138_ , and in _Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope_ , when Han and Luke took Chewie as a "prisoner" into the detention level, Luke told the officer there that it was a "prisoner transfer from cell block 1138." It also appears hidden in several of the other _Star Wars_ films, as well as the Indiana Jones series. In fact, many other movies and TV shows have used this number as a nod to George Lucas. 🤓
Don't know how Craig does it but he always kept it fresh Steven Colbert's just so stale I'd rather watch reruns of Craig then watched Stephen Colbert show live.
this series has been over for over 3rs and the first few minutes of this was almost as if it was a brand new never-before seen episode to my eyes, especially after watching the series all the way through about 5 times. wish they made another spinoff (that isn’t young Sheldon)

@@gerrybonds I hope it's good! I wouldn't mind a mini series featured around Stuart and his girlfriend working at the comic shop, and could have appearances from the original cast. But they will probably do something completely different.

When he was talking about what Einstein said, I told my phone, "Well, he married his cousin, so I'm surprised he didn't think THAT was a blunder." Haha
The JayLeno Fly, I love you for doing all these videos. I was wondering, in your travels looking through all these interviews, has any of the guests ever grabbed the card before Craig tears it up? I always wondered if someone familiar with the show would have had the thought to do this :D
After the email segment when it goes to commercial break, Craig hides his face while I assume he's asking Jim Parsons if he's really like how he's playing it on his show and you can clearly see Jim say "I''m really not" as they get into a quick conversation. That's a pretty cool little piece.
480P, in your pants!
omg, it was fking 480, I've made a mistake in the edit, fk me!
going to have to re-upload this one....Maybe.
flash more U really should. I see you already re-uploaded the Alice Eve, very smart move ;)
The JayLeno Fly another gem. Thank you Jay Leno fly!!
not getting superb quality here, I just 240P'd my pants! LOL
Craig is the best late night show host ever. Really liked the people he interviewed and some he really loved. Miss him

Are you from Beacon?
i SO miss him doing this show. He would have nailed the Tonight show...he has just the right banter and class.
Have you seen what The Tonight Show has turned into? There is no way Craig would do that.
It would not have been good, I think. NBC has always been really strict on the content and Craig is this good because he is free to do whatever he wants here but it would not be same with NBC.
too smart for prime time
With current pc mentality? He'd have to keep blocking misandrists on the Tweety.
@@sweiland75 ...because thats Fallon's Tonight Show. like how Corden's Late Late Show is unrecognizable to Craig's.
Jim and Craig bicker like an old married couple, I really miss the Ferg he was the BEST late night host ever IMO.
Craig patting Jim on the back and saying "We're so very proud of you" is the single most wholesome dad-like thing I have ever seen Craig do :)
You can tell he has a fondness for Jim. It’s really sweet.
Damn I'm bummed I missed this...

He was honestly. Conan is the only one that comes even remotely close anymore.

I didn't watch this when it originally aired because I had no "life context"
It's much better now, thank you fly man!
I personally lived with The Big Bang Theory series, I laughed, I learned, I was impressed, and this series examines the value of science. We do not need to be a scientist, we can still use science and apply it in our lives.
I miss Craig on the Late Late Show sooooooo much. Yes I go to bed at a decent hour now but that not the point........

I'm kinda angry that no-one told me there was a crossover where Craig auditioned to be Sheldon's friend ...
Think they just did it for this. Not an actual episode
I was expecting Craig in an entire Big Bang Theory episode like going to the comic store but this is also good 🤣

He wasn't fired, he quit. Guess he doesn't wanna do that format anymore
LOL. Galecki almost let it slip that he was dating Cuoco when he was telling Craig about their vacation together.
Craig dispensed humor and witty banter. Today's lot are part of the propaganda machine. I love that guy, and so did most of the guests.
"Ooh la la splash!" Yet another fantastic throw-away line.

Woke is in the wrong context. It is past tense of wake. It is not an adjective.

Me too!!!!

I somehow feel JaylenoFly is Craig himself.
OHHHHH WHAT A GREAT THEORY
Nah, JaylenoFly cares far too much about Craig's show to be Craig...
@@kronenharlekin95 lol. Very true
@@ajsky1066 if he doesn't even give a OHLALA to his own show, I don't think he'll care even more to rebroadcasts of it lol

The JayLeno Fly. Yes. I requested it & you uploaded it within 24 hours too. Nice, you out did yourself.

This is a classic and would be a number one show in 2020!,,
Miss both these shows

I miss Craig soooooooo much.
Watch Jay Leno's "best" opening monologue and then watch this. 'Nuff said.
Without looking, you'd think that was actually Michael Caine.
That was a great skit! Miss you CF!
