- Baldi's Basics Plus is like the original game, but PLUS! The same cruddy edutainment horror type parody theme is back, but with hugely expanded gameplay features, including procedurally generated levels, field trip minigames, crazy random events, PLUS more characters, more items, and more chaos!

here's all the new content in the prerelease(only the major stuff)
1: the principal office now has its own unique door
2: the library has changed so it's no longer a maze
3: classroom generation has been upgraded immensely
4: the number balloons bounce a little when you select them with your cursor
5: baldi now congrats the player for collecting all the notebooks just like in classic/birthday bash/classic remastered however baldi says "FIND A WAY OUT BEFORE I CATCH YOU" just like in classic remastered
6: the bsoda splash texture is different
7: the prices of certain items in johnnys shop have increased
8. beans has new sounds
9. there's new sounds for the saftey sisscors and zesty bar when used
10. dr reflex
11. color-coded maps
12. several new Structures to level generation, such as filing cabinets, a hospittal, 3D-modeled bookshelves, computers, ceiling fans, and a hop-scotch area
13. the sounds gets muffled when under-water and your vision is limited during the flood event
14. several new Hallway formations, such as open areas with pillars in the middle, two parallel hallways with a thin wall separating them, and "diagonal" hallways
15. a new special Room formation for each common type of room such as a l shaped classrooms variant and a u shaped Faculty Room variant
16. classrooms can now have different desks/variants such as classrooms can now have regular desks being replaced with teachers desks and the classrooms can now be messy with the desks/chairs scattered all over the place
17. the playgrounds now have birds chirping and other ambience
18. the player can now ride the merry-go-round
19. the bully now pushes the player when they have no items to give to the bully
20. the bookshelfs changed
and 21. and updated how the level generator makes levels

@@RudestRuins_aka_TheNuclearNUKE My guess would be game design: It would alert the player that the principal would be coming in instead of appearing out of no-where. The player could use the chalk eraser item to hide from the principal.
