It’s one thing finding trends on an old chart. It’s another evaluating the chart in real time before the trend starts. Price action ;)

That's what I'm saying. No one shows you either live trading or proof that they traded showing their buy/sells. I'm not saying she's profitable, but these trading youtubers give you just enough information to funnel you to their channel, but not enough for you to learn yourself.

Truth. There are tons of instruction givers never saying anything new. So many sell courses and don’t actually trade.
Because "the new" nobody can teach you and one of this tips is be patience in order to wait the trenline breaking. Patience is the key and of course risk management
Not many traders talk about trading psychology. You can have an average strategy make bank if your psychology is strong. A tech analysis expert with poor psychology will mostly likely well under perform. Trading psychology is key
Same I trade trendline-breaks combined with support and resistance. Works for me while other strategies dont.

This works for a few reasons for “her” she uses big time frames like 4hrs,daily ,weekly which I do recommend like instead of 5 mins do 10 for the reasons it takes out hesitation and confusion a lot more which makes trades more consistent

Trading off of trends with support and resistance is easy. The hard part is being patient and disciplined.
Yes obviously this doesn’t work every time, but if you’re winning 60+% you turn a profit.
Might work during the course of one day. What happens when you wake up, gap down 25%? Trade it during the day, but get out.

Uhh so you figured out your stop loss in hindsight based on a trendline. Niiiice. Before an uptrend was established you got in so you need a condition for when to get out.

I use trendlines as well, but I never knew that having it touch more than 3 points on a higher timeframe would actually be so effective ❤❤❤❤

remember fellas, discretion is key. Price action was already there and lines, drawings, and boxes don’t change anything beyond telling you a story of what happened through a new perspective. Intuition is what gives you an edge. If your trading can be explained and broken down, then it can be automated, which long term will never ever make you profitable. Be real.
It is interesting what you say. Although I would think that logic, probability, and risk management are the foundations. If you don’t have those and go by your “intuition” you are likely to make a huge mistake somewhere down the line. One thing to consider is that people who have accurate intuition usually have vast experience in their area of intuition, which means intuition will be less dependable on average the less experienced you are.
Look at platinum. The reason she explained it on platinum is because it has those channels where you can enter a trade and let that run till it changes direction. You can set stoploss under youre entry and if you want do like trailing stop. Assets with more volatility wont work so good cause they suddenly change direction and youre out.
@@truereality84 let me give you some real knowledge… Experience is the separator. The reason we see profitable traders is because they’re making intuitive decisions that can’t be quantified into an algorithm. Discretionary traders are trading on intuition, which is only gained through experience and so much time that price action as become an internalized language. My point is, a guru can sit here and make a post explaining how his/her “strategy” works and makes money. However, it’s just for the views and there’s is no anecdotal evidence to consider if a guru is profitable at all. Just like ICT was exposed. I’m pointing out how all these gurus unbelievably have this simplistic child-like notion that trading can taught explicitly, when intuitive is implicitly learned. That’s how the big dawgs trade. Real traders.
@@truereality84 To be quite frank, what I’m saying is the absolute truth. Becoming profitable can ONLY be done through implicit learning, simple. Experience is the separator, it’s because their making intuition decisions that can’t be quantified into an algorithm. They have knowledge, but it is not of the verbal and declarative kind. My point is gurus and etc can post a video explaining their “strategy”, but It’s most likely just for clicks and will not work long term as I’ve seen no evidence of profitable. Take everything you see on the internet with a grain of salt. In reality, discretionary traders are trading on intuition, which is only gained through experience and so much time that price action has become an internalized language. Yet people are trying to teach it explicitly. The true learning in any strategy happens through price action ( the common denominator of all approaches), and this learning develops the discretion required to make any system work. You can only learn when and when not to follow your system through hours of practice by trading and experimenting.
There's a lot of discretion in what she just showed. For example where she said she would enter in the trendline break, a new trend had not yet been established. It could have gone sideways, or continued down after that "break". It wasn't until the new trend put in two higher lows that she could even draw the up trend line.

The data points for your upward trendline did not exist when your buy was executed. Your buy signal could just as easily been a hiccup in the longer term downtrend.

Every strategy works if you are able to build the right mindset and proper risk management around it however I believe if you are a day trader, you need a well structured combo strategy, just trendline wont be enough!

I love the four HR trendine breaks however, it takes foreverrrrrrr for a set up.

I'm currently demo trading with only support and resistance on indices and futures on 5 min and 1 min. That works absolutely best for me so far.

Remember fellas, if it were this simple everyone would be doing it.
You have to keep order blocks, Fair value gap, demand and supply in mind.
Because she is a swing trader not a day trader. It has taken her a decade to make six figures a year doing this. It’s extremely realistic and simple. But ppl are greedy and scared and want it tomorrow, that’s why they get burnt out and blow accounts up. It’s really not that deep. Most people go the real estate route, other people look at charts. There’s no magic or overnight success to these methods lol

Second, swing trading works better if you have an enormous account.
Chart your lines on bodies. Gives you better entries. I also don't think a 2 touch is a trend line. You can make any 2 points connect with a line. You need 3 touches of bodies to make a trend line for me. Better entries, better exits.
I guess you're a professional trader. Even though I don't understand discretionary technical analysis, this seems legit. Good job.
