Only problem in electric is battery. You have to change your battery within a year if you are rough rider. For those reasons i never considered buying an E-vehicle, not even Tesla car. Tesla sucks after few months.

The disadvantages of electric scooters pointed out in this video are so true. However, these can be eliminated soon with better battery packs and motor. I guess if they do away with portable battery, they can have higher capacity battery by using the floor like upto 5-6 kWh. And that will kill any ICE in acceleration and top speed.
i am using the epluto. it has many issues. suspensions are worst, body is delicate, seat is small two people cannot sit comfortably, water enters the battery chamber during rain, warranty of the battery is only 30,000 km. and many more issues are present. foot rust is not provided for the person sitting behind. quality is not at all good. dot only go with the look of the vehicle.
All electric scooter manufacturers should meet and decide on the design of their batteries and come with a common model. This will help keeping alive the idea of battery swapping stations in petrol stations. Also, any development in the battery technology like lithium/ carbon or double carbon battery / aluminium -air battery, the manufacturers will not have to worry about the new clientele. Their battery can be used in all the existing electric scooters. Experts, please comment.

Not really. These days an average electric scooter/bike runs around 80kms on full charge. Do you travel that far regularly? Think again Usual commute distances daily won't cross that limit. I know many who own electric bikes for travel. At home they put the bike on charge just like a mobile. And if they are planning some detour on the way back from work, they just bring the battery to office and set it to charge.

At home they put the bike on charge just like a mobile. And if they are planning some detour on the way back from work, they just bring the battery to office and set it to charge.
