I am open-minded to actual arguments. But have you honestly heard any decent arguments to counter any of the many things known about Clinton than the usual "She is the lesser evil." and "She'd be the first woman to be president."?
Both of those sound like they make sense but are extremely hurtful in the long run.
1. "She is the lesser evil." - The problem with voting for the lesser evil is that you're still voting for evil. Yourvote is telling the DNC that in 4 years all they have to do is be "slightly better" than the next horrible republican candidate rather than ever offering you a decent candidate. You're also telling them that any kind of illegal party-meddling and voter fraud during the primaries is acceptable as long as you're better than the reds.
2. "She'd be the first female president." - An argument people only think half-way through. Yes, there should be a female president and yes, she is female, but her sex should not be the only deciding factor and lead to people ignoring her horrible flaws. The supposedly sexist "bernie bros" used to beg Elizabeth Warren to step up as a nominee and in their case it wasn't JUST because Warren was female but because she was also a decent politician and a decent human being. When she refused to run they went for Sanders because he was the next-best option, yet the media (as we can see through leaks now, on behest of Clintons campaign) turned their refusal to support Clinton into one based purely on sexism.
Keep in mind that getting females into important roles has been so incredibly hard because 1/3 of america is unreasonably religious and buys into the whole "men are better than women and women are inherently evil" bullshit and another big chunk among republicans are the sexist without needing religion. What do you think happens if the first female president ends up being a woman most well known for her corruption and legitimately proven to have partaken in fraud during her primaries? I'm pretty sure that republicans will spin this to claim they were right all along and take Clinton as proof for why women should not hold power. You're massively setting back females for decades again by wasting this one chance of having the first female president be one that is actually liked and that has a code of ethics.
