This video made installation FLAWLESS. Thank you so much Sir and thank you for all the little extras you include your packages. Two Skeletools, Two ARCs, a Charge TTI, and Signal all modded with your parts. I am GRATEFUL for these upgrades and your genius! Thank you Sir.
@@kristenvanpatten3854 Oh God, SUPER helpful…I was concerned that the saw was hitting the frame, and I kept the video running to the “troubleshooting” portion, and YOU EVEN addressed that…lol…I did exactly as you said, and it alleviated the issue. Just TERRIFIC!!! 🤙🏽
I just installed the latest version of the scalpel holder - a fantastic addition to Arc, and an incredible testament to your craftsmanship and precision. Thanks so much, Kristen.
In daily life, I find more useful a scalpel rather than a can opener. Very nice Mr. Kristen. However, I was expecting to see how the saw blade fit well after you added the extra shim... Nice video.
Got the updated scalpel insert today…WOW…very nice looking..great job!….oh …and thanks for the extras…will install later this week…well worth the wait..THANKS MANY!!
I'm glad to hear you're happy with it. I've made a number of design adjustments that I think improve the look. I've also refined my finishing processes a bit to bring it to a nice polish.
You're welcome. It was your request that nudged me to make it happen. I'm working on making a video section on my website. I just got these latest scalpel holders in. I'm working on finishing them up and assembling the packets now.
I never used can opener ever. Scalpel blade is way useful. And having two kinds of blade on Leatherman tool makes it so much better. PS: I can use a blade to open a can :D
Hi, Yes, It should fit without issue. I have a K2, not a K4 so I can't do a test fit for you but I can confirm it fits within the profile / dimensions of the Free series scissors, as well as in any of the tool spaces on the K2.
@ no I was attempting to remove the side plate to fit the scalpel holder I just purchased from you and realised that the spindle end was hex and the screw at the saw side was torx, I also noticed that the screw would undo very easily as if no loctite had been applied. I will take a picture tomorrow and email it to you if you like?
Yeah, I would be curious to see it. Do you buy it from the Leatherman website, or a third party? I wonder if someone took it apart and lost the original screw, then returned/ sold it.
@ I bought it from a a reputable company and it is completely unmarked and in perfect condition, I am curious as to who or why anyone would do this, the screws look identical apart from the recess for the appropriate driver
Ha! In my experience, Leatherman will still warranty tools as long as you put everything back to stock before sending it in. This mod is 100% reversible. No tools were harmed in the making of this video. ;)
@@kristenvanpatten3854Up until they read your comment on this video, that is! lol. NIce stuff. Looking forward to being able to do surgery with my ARC! And start a fire while writing a letter. 😆

I asked for just this on Reddit a few months back, and you certainly did not disappoint.
This one has been a serious challenge. There are so many nuances and I had to scrap a lot of parts along the way.

Genuinely curious, what can the scalpel do that the knife cannot?
Hi, I got the holder today and could install it without any problems. Thanks a lot and greetings from Switzerland!😃

The screws on my arc are torx one side and hex the other??
@@anthonyschofield7807 that's weird. Is it possible it's just a stripped out Torx screw?
